Struck in The Middle? (Day 1 Late Morning)

"Oral history?" That sounded interesting.

"That must be a truly difficult thing, to try and remember hundreds of years of things. Is one person supposed to be able to recite all of it?"

"It is passed from generation to generation as stories. All of the Marta participate in this, sharing the burden and maintaining consistency." he explained.

"Oh." That made a lot of sense. "I suppose that makes it a lot easier to keep track of everything."

"You haven't ever heard any stories about men riding giant lizards have you?" It couldn't hurt to ask.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Lizards?" He considered it for a moment, but shook his head. "I've heard of giant birds, the rocs, but not lizards."

Do they were to remain a mystery. Daisuke nodded. "Well at least now I know there is other types of giant animals out there."

"So it's likely someone somewhere has heard of these lizards."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"It's possible." he nodded. "What are these lizards?"

"I can't say I know much about them other then the fact that they are huge."

"They are dangerous things as well, I've no idea how they ever trained them to the point they could be ridden."

"Who trained them, the Yobanjin?" he asked. "That is troubling."

"It certainly seems like they did." He offered with a nod.

"Of course it could be whoever has organized them as well."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I will ask the others. I've never heard of them, but there are still many stories I have never heard."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"I appreciate that Shinjo-san." He replied with a smile. As it were any type of information could be useful.

"If nothing else, your presence here will hopefully bring our clans closer together." he suggested.

"I was hoping for something like that to happen."

"You are now are closest neighbors after all, I at least was hoping we could get along, to both of our benefits."

He nodded. "I hope for the same. You should have plenty of opportunities to meet many from my clan."

He expected or rather hoped to be meeting plenty of women. He was supposed to marry one after all, and he'd like to at least have a chance to meet her first. "I hope to."
