She chews on some jerky and says, “You would be surprised.”

Red all the way to the tips of her ears, "yes, I... I suppose I would." She pours a cup of tea and tries to hide behind it.

[Moto Khulun]

She laughs and says, “They can be taught though if they are willing to listen. The trick is to get them to think their sword is the best sword to ever sword… and then gently guide them to a better stance.”

[Ide Amaya]

She listens intently, but tries not to show the depth of her interest in Khulun's down-right scandalous topic of conversation.

"What if neither of you have much knowledge of the best stances and kata though?"

Yukarin may have been blushing too, but somehow it did not show in her voice as she looked up from the pillowbook.

“Then you do the best you can and figure out what feels best and does not. This may sound not so romantic as those books, but you get more out of the stances if you talk to each other, then stances get better with time,” she says after a moment of thought.

“Even a poor stance can be enjoyable if they are earnest.”

Amaya's eyes fly wide and she accidentally inhales some of her tea, prompting a coughing fit.

Some sword long like spear, others like knife, understand? Some are thick blade other not so thick, but really it come down to how one use weapon.”

Yukarin nodded, "That makes sense; Different weapons for different applications. And different sheaths, as you said. It is all a lot to take in. To consideration that is."

She tapped her chin with her bookmark.

“It is but simple and not simple, like riding… very easy to do once you understand yet you will learn new things the more you do it,” she says honestly with a pleasant smile.

Khulun adds, “Is the tea ready?”

Getting her coughing fit under control, Amaya nods. "Yes, sisters." There is a question on her tongue, but she can't quite seem to work out what it is she wants to ask, so instead she pours the tea.
