The day is partially cooled by an eastern wind which brings heavy clouds and the scent of rain. When the storm finally breaks in the early evening, it unleashes a torrent of water that bombards the land below through the Early Night. Anyone stepping outside for even a moment is soaked through, and even an umbrella doesn't do much to keep one dry, on account of the wind. Thunder rumbles overhead, and flashes of lightning can sometimes be seen in the sky... along with a sinuous, serpentine shape, glimpsed so briefly that it's difficult to tell whether it was real or imagined...
