Turning, the Scorpion walked away, thinking now was a good time to go to sleep and hope the world looked... sane... in the morning.

Khulun takes it heartily and drinks and hands it back saying, “I know.”

He sighed realizing the scene they probably just cause. His eyes set on the Moto "So now what?"

“We play games?” she says realizing now that the moment was awkward. She points at the Crane and says, “What are they doing?”

Fukawa opened her fan, and deliberately looked away from the Lion and the Unicorn drunkenly making out in the middle of the event. The behavior was expected from the Unicorn, but from the Lion?!? Sake could only excuse so much shame after all.

She approaches the Crane and says, "You playing game?"

Doji grant me grace. Fukawa thought.

Fukawa turns and offers a polite bow to the Moto.

"Hai. Soshi-san, and I were playing a game of sadane with this painting." she says, gesturing towards the painting they had been discussing.

"We have not been properly introduced, I am Doji Fukawa." she offers, with another bow.

Khulun nods and says, “Sad-ane? How you play? Dice game? Need lamb bones?”

After being shown the rules, Moto Baatar began placing the white stones on the Go board in roughly the outline of a castle with peaked roofs, which he imagined would make for a strong defensive position.

"Ha! Your stones will bounce off of my castle like raindrops from a rooftop!" the Unicorn crowed at the Dragon.

The Dragon looks at the board and begins placing black stones around the "castle."

"It is true, but there is so much rain that you cannot safely leave the castle to gather food."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa shook her head.

"No, it is a game of wits, Moto-san." she said. "The challenge is to humorously insult the work while being subtle about it."

She nods to the Soshi.

"Soshi-san opened with a comment about how he had never seen so many variations of brown in a single artwork, which sounds like he is impressed, but he is not impressed in a good way." she explains.

[Moto Khulun]

"What?" she says cocking her head in confusion.

"So is he impressed or is he not impressed?"

[Doji Fukawa]

"What?" she says cocking her head in confusion.

"He is impressed with how much the painting disappoints him." she tries.

The woman looks at the painting and strokes her chin and then says, “Good formation but if they wish to kill them all need to flank from here and then they will have many heads! Put them on pikes warn enemies of strength… then they be ahead of the game,” she chuckles at her punny joke.

[Matsu Nintoku]

The Matsu followed the Moto towards the Crane and the Scorpion, his eyes narrowing at the sight of the Crane. His Matsu blood made him hate the Crane on instinct alone, his ancestors hatred particularly fueled by the kumis in his body.

"Doji-san." he said in calm and polite tone "This one is Matsu Nintoku."

Sadane. Great. His mood darkened considerably.

The Doji was working out the polite response when a drunken, angry Matsu was added to the mix.

There really was only one appropriate response.

Fukawa bowed respectfully to the Lion.

"I am Doji Fukawa, an honor to meet you.....Matsu Nintoku?" she offered, trailing off on the Matsu's name as if it had some sort of meaning to her, but she couldn't grasp ahold of it just at the moment.
