Teach a Crane (D3, Early Evening)

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nodded.

"You certainly seem to be kind and understanding as well, Akil-san." she offers, detouring away from the dead family. "Though I will have to reserve judgement on your flute playing until I've heard it."

[Shinjo Akil]

"I would be glad to play for you any time, of course," he nodded, "I cannot imagine I carry the skill I have heard your artisans carry, but I am always more than eager to give it my very best."

[Doji Fukawa]

"Perhaps you will visit Tsuma, some day." she offers. "It is a very small village, but the Kakita Academy is quite impressive. And it's not unknown for them to take on students from other clans of sufficiently impressive skill."

[Shinjo Akil]

"I would not mind the opportunity to learn," he nodded with a smirk, "I imagine, though, it would be easier for me to attend if I were a Crane? I do not fully understand how the school work, you see."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa nods.

"Though marrying a Crane would also give you some pull in acquiring permission. Senseis can only take on so many students, after all, so being given the chance to have one of those limited student slots is a much sough after favor." she says.

[Shinjo Akil]

He looked down at the crane fan for a moment, then nodded. "It certainly is a path that I cannot imagine would cause me unhappiness, were it to open for me."

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa looked to the stars hopefully.

Please Kakita, he is just so perfect. she offered as a brief prayer.

"The hour seems to be getting late. Perhaps we should agree to meet another time for music?" she suggests.

[Shinjo Akil]

Akil nodded. "Indeed. Tomorrow would be a good day I think, especially if I am recalling correctly that Bayushi Suteichi-san is hosting a musical event tomorrow evening."

[Doji Fukawa]

"That sounds nice, Akil-san." she says, happy to have another reason to use his name. "Where were they planning on having it?"

[Shinjo Akil]

"The dueling fields, as I recall," he thought about it a moment, then nodded in affirmation. "So hopefully I will see you there, Fukawa-san?"

[Doji Fukawa]

Fukawa bowed.

"Count on it, Akil-san." she offered. "Carry the fortunes."


After he made his goodbyes it would be....

"You as well, Fukawa-san," he smiled, looking over to Setem. "Ready to really ride, boy?" After a brief snort from the horse, he hopped on Setem and started a fast ride.
