[Otaku Chi-Pu]

Chi-Pu rises without stumbling with Butaj's support.

She smiles happily and opens her eyes for a moment.

"Sweet dreams, Phoenix-san. I know mine will be."

She closes them again and gives most of her weight to Butaj, her own legs barely doing more than holding her pants.

[Asako Hirase]

Even Hirase was smirking at this last comment from the Battle Maiden, though he hid it behind a hand quickly enough. "Rest well, Chi-pu-sama. If you need a recipe for a remedy tea tomorrow, come by and I'll share."

Turning back to Khulun, he reassured her as best he could.

"I believe the nakodo have done all the vetting they planned to before sending the invitations. No risk of you having to waste time avenging an insult this time."

Moving carefully, the Phoenix pushed to his feet.

"I should go, too. Just in case I'm wrong about the nakodo. I'll not harm your chances, Khulun-san, just in case your fancy falls on a more traditional man."

[Moto Khulun]

“Plenty of men to go around, and Otaku-nikutai has her eye on you I see no reason to beat a dying horse,” she rose to her feet and says, “May the winds favor you, and your lips never be parched.”

[Moto Butaj]

Rather than drag the Shiotome, Butaj does the right thing and takes Chi-pu into his arms by sweeping her off the ground with one arm under her knees. He keeps an utterly professional expression of an elder brother and carries Chi-pu out of the yurt, then heads toward her tent. As he carries her, he thinks of the feminine concerns her slurring has planted in his mind, just in relation to another woman. Never before has he thought it could be a problem, but apparently it can be.

[Otaku Chi-Pu]

"Thank you Butaj. Good man, cant see why Moto disown"

Chi-Pu collapses into her bed and instantly sleeps

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj takes her shoes off and covers her with fur blanket. Before leaving, he smiles sadly but not excessively so. "Butaj is a bastard, this is all." He then ties the flap and is on his way back to Khulun's tent.

[Moto Khulun]

By the time Butaj returns Khulun has created a defensive position around her made of furs and pillows, the only part that is visible is the upper part of her face.

[Asako Hirase]

"We are not destined to be mates, no, but we can certainly be friends." The Asako smiled at his hostess as he moved to the tent entrance. "If you find one that you like and need a bit of help, even if it's just someone to soothe tempers after you abduct the man, I'm glad to help. Sleep well and dream of glory and valor, Khulun-san."

Then, humming a bit of Butaj's song, the Phoenix made a slow, measured trek back towards his own tent.

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj has picked a jug of water on the way and after announcing himself he slips in. He takes his instrument and leaves the pitcher within Khulun's reach. He firmly decides against taking the minks away tonight as she looks kind of cute with a white furry halo, with just a part of her face visible from her pillow fort. "All good, Sayyeda?" He smiles caringly.

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun had forgotten her cousin was coming back and says sheepishly her voice getting small, “Just… uhh… enjoying this… pillow fort?”

[Moto Butaj]

"Good tradition from the cold northern steppe. Nothing better, short of a sleeping partner." Butaj laughs. "Butaj sees you're recovering nicely. Tomorrow will be a good day." Seeing her taking good care of herself, he is about to leave.

[Moto Khulun]

She adds softly, "Play me a song before you go, Sayyed Butaj?"

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj smiles brightly and nods. He sits by the fort, cross-legged on the floor of the yurt, and readies his fiddle to play a beautiful lullaby, glancing at Khulun from time to time as he quietly, intimately plays.

(Song!)

[Moto Khulun]

As the song progresses she lays her head on his shoulder, then a single hand escapes the furry fortress and finds it way to playing with his beard… wordlessly the walls of the impenetrable fortress crumble into furs and pillows as she explores the bastard born Moto with her hands…

There are no words but if he relents then she will take things to the natural conclusion before she meets with the Herald of darkness, a guided gentle release before she delves deeper into the darkness…

[Moto Butaj]

Initially surprised, Butaj senses deeper yearning in her desire, more than a sexual fancy. What is first just being forthcoming with caresses and kisses gradually changes into a desire of his own, a shift from meeting the needs of his leader to having an urge to take her with passion of an awakened tempest, the gale that bends the grass of the steppe to the very ground. In his strong and caring arms she finds the abandon she needs to face clear her mind before facing the dark ordeals...
