[Otaku Chi-Pu]

Chi-Pu closes her eyes and smiles, thinking about the words from Butaj.

Her body relaxes and her breathing slows.

"Mm"

Is all she says.

[Asako Hirase]

Hirase had the bottle in hand and was about to drink when he noted the state of the Otaku. "Khulan-san, if you don't wish to share your tent with your kinswoman, we might have to have a break for the evening." Not at all subtly, he pointed at Chi-Pu. "Drink's knocked her nearly to Yume-do."

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun shrugs and says, "Is she drunk sleep? Otaku-nikutai wake up your husband to be wants to walk you home."

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj snickers. He wishes Hirase and Chi-pu well and considers them a cute couple, so him carrying her back is a mental image that is both funny and endearing. Not many occasions to take care of a Shiotome when she's vulnerable like this.

[Asako Hirase]

Khulun's enthusiastic pairing of them didn't phase Hirase in the slightest. Indeed, he grinned at the young woman as he handed the flask back over.

"If you are so determined to be her second in this matter, Khulan-san, it is only fair that I ask you to tell me more about this whole 'carried off' business in a few days. I don't think my riding instructor would understand as well as a Moto, since it's your tradition and all and she's a Shinjo."

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun smirks and says, "It's an old thing not so common now but if you wish to know I can share when you wish."

[Otaku Chi-Pu]

"...."

Chi-Pu breathes softly and her head rolls forward slightly, causing her to jerk it back upright.

"...can't be husband.."

she mutters sleepily

"...havent slept together yet..."

Her eyes remain closed and she does not move anymore.

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj fights hard not to waggle eyebrows. He does not entirely succeed so he hides his face in his hands, rubbing with them energetically to wipe out a sly grin.

[Moto Khulun]

"Sayyed Butaj, take Otaku-nikutai home if you would," Khulun replies with a warm smile.

[Asako Hirase]

Hirase was stunned a bit wordless for a moment, then looked to the two Moto as if for guidance.

"Is it usual to consummate prior to marrying in the Unicorn? Because....the rest of the Empire...that's the opposite of how it usually goes."

[Moto Khulun]

Khulun shrugs and says, “It depends?”

“If you value purity, then Otaku-nikutai is as fresh as a newborn babe. I think it’s more she believes the man she finally lays with will be her husband till the end of her days.”

[Asako Hirase]

"I never cared either way, really." Hirase laughed. "The nakodo usually do, though. The more traditional ones especially. I heard from a classmate that some even keep eta for the purpose of examination, though I was never sure if she was teasing me or not..."

[Moto Khulun]

“Eta comes to examine my purity I break their hand, then take the nakodo’s head for insult,” the Moto growls and then relaxes.

“Never much cared either, seen many men care… like they lose special power because their sword was not first in the sheath. Idiots.”

[Otaku Chi-Pu]

"...I hopeitfits.."

Chi-Pu slurs out a few words and leans on support for the yurt.

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj rises immediately. "Right away, Sayyeda. Butaj will come later for the instrument." With that, he knelt by Chi-pu. "Lella Chi-pu, it's time to call it a day. Butaj will take you to your yurt." He then takes her arm and puts it around his neck.
