She kept her On, though it was a struggle. "He merely mistepped in playful dialogue. He apologized quite profusely."

She looked puzzled. "He is...harder to read. Interesting. But pleasant. He was less forthcoming than the others. I suspect he will take a greater deal of time to know." She pauses. "What about you Bayushi-san? How have your days been proceeding?"

"I had a meeting with Otaku Imane. Very remarkable samurai ko. I also had the honor and pleasure of meeting Shinjo Liu Fei. A very formidable fighter. She introduced me to the...barick...bearick...it was a test of strength this clan has."

Kogo's eyes widen. "I have enjoyed the time I have spent with some of the Otaku. They seem honorable and interesting, as well as possessing an excellent sense of humor." She reflected on her time speaking to Otaku Chi-pu. "I could see that possibly working for you. You've coped with my eccentricities well enough and the Otaku are similar. " She ponders. "But is the..barick you speak of? Is it like jiujitsu? I started learning more with Matsu Nintoku this morning."

She laughs openly, covering her mouth for a hurried moment with her mouth. "I would have given many koku to see that! You, wrestling?" She calms herself relatively quickly though, not wishing to cause offense. "I am impressed Bayushi-san. You are clearly either very enamored of this woman or pushing yourself to your utmost. How did it go?"

Suteichi of course sat with utmost class and poise as she laughed and sipped his tea.

He of course was dismissing how his interest was for Liu Fei. "I admit that my martial abilities could use some work if I am to be a suitable husband for her...for anyone...here at the miai." Suteichi returned to his cup of tea.

Kogo perked. "Words of praise, coming from you Bayushi-san. I look forward to meeting this paragon." She pauses. "Would you wish to learn from me or from another? Though I cannot teach you jiujitsu or this baricke, my work with the sword is sufficient for teaching someone else. I may also take some time and practice archery. I am intrigued by the possibilities!"

It is bad enough that we have the Hida being without class, now we have to be settled with...with...their kind." Suteichi drank some more tea. "The whole moment in the field was just ruined."

Kogo listened intently. "The Moto do seem distinctly different from our Shinjo cousins in their handling of Rokugani etiquette. I had a small run in with a Moto Khulun, I believe was her name and some of her questions were quite impertinent. I could see her being...quite a bother to your sensibilities."
