[Day 2 - Late Evening] Story Time II

[Kitsu Takashi]

Takashi quickly responds: "Indeed, Shinjo-sama. Clarification shall no doubt be very important to us all as we seek to learn more about each other." There is a severity in the Kitsu's eyes that doesn't quite fit with the smile on his face, but the Unicorn gets only a short glimpse of the look before it's turned to Ryori and Kyra. The sharp senses of the Lion and the lion no doubt register Takashi's unspoken No more.

[Moto Baatar]

"Tell us a tale about how you taught Kyra to be samurai, Shimizu-san," Baatar urged, seemingly heedless of the tension that had arisen. "I've utterly failed to teach my horse how to be samurai, and would like to benefit from your example." The young rider grinned impishly.

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe mentally screamed a bit more as the Kitsu didn't even correct his kinsman.

No, no... the Lion are our friends, don't make them angry by correcting them.

In the end, she just had to pass it off as the Kitsu covering up for his cousin's failings for now, and would no doubt reprimand him in private... it was not her business. Not her business.

A shame it had all kind of overshadowed her own attempt at sharing her favorite childhood tale, but it couldn't be helped, and she looked to see if anyone else would share a story.

[Kitsu Takashi]

If the Kitsu seemed to be biting his lip, his warm smile did an excellent job covering it.

"Moto-san's eagerness is admirable. Eagerness to achieve the ideals of Bushido is a hallmark of great samurai, but the ideals are really achieved through tempering--perhaps like the careful process needed to create the 'soul of a samurai'?" The Kitsu sounds like he is musing, but one of his hands waves rather close to his daisho. But the large smile continues.

"Might I share a tale of how a samurai finds their own way, rather than being 'taught'? For, as Moto-san rightly notes, to teach Bushido is a great challenge. The person who seeks Bushido does much in overcoming challenges on their own."

[Otomo Tenzo]

"Please do share, Kitsu-san," the Otomo requested as he lowered his fan down to his chest and hoped that this whole mess was moving on and would soon be behind them.
