Kumahime nods, "A meal for many, but not a meal for all," Kumahime points out. "There are many guests. And that assumes you have a generous definition of what counts as a meal for one; I suspect a number of the Moto have an appetite closer to mine than yours. Selecting guests may be... sensitive."

"I'd rather not turn any away. Perhaps the Unicorn will provide some additional basic food if things get too out of hand. Although surely the guests will understand there's only so many we can feed with what's on hand?"

[Kitsune Kumahime]

"A stewing method," Kumahime decrees, "Will extend just how far the ingredients will go, and some of those basic ingredients will help. There are many curious people here. It will mean many curious mouths. And I suspect life on the road means these Unicorn are not accustomed to plenty; rationing is a must when traveling."

[Yuzuki]

"You may be right," she said, considering the matter. "Although I saw quite a few Unicorn being... less than thrilled with Rokugani food this evening."

"When cooking for family, cook to their tastes. When cooking for strangers, always prepare enough safe options to satisfy your guests." Kitchen wisdom from the Proud Bear dojo. "I think the... 'complications' with dinner were part of the test. We are not out to test our newfound friends."

"Right. I don't know how to cook anything that might be specifically safe for them though. Apart from rice? They eat rice, right?"

"It looked like they deliberately made the Rokugani and Unicorn foods difficult to tell apart," Kumahime points out. "I certainly found some cheese I thought was tofu. We can be a little more obvious, ne?"

[Yuzuki]

"Of course. I don't want to make anyone ill from surprise."

"Then simple and varied fare should keep everyone safe easily enough. The Unicorn didn't seem to hesitate to reach for rice or any of the vegetables."

"I suppose it's more universal. I have plenty of rice in any case."
