If fu leng is not his true name then I am not sure a nickname/title would give an oni power.

Each persons name is thier soul/identity, only one oni (lord) can be linked to that soul/identity for power purposes. So the first oni is Oni-no-fuleng, even if he is actually oni-no-jimbob because fulengs real name is jimbob and he think fuleng sounds cooler
