[D2: LA:Open] Flower picking

[Moshi Asakiko]

Not one to join the events of the Unicorn this day, Moshi Asakiko headed to the fields to see if she would find some flowers in the fields. Perhaps the Unicorn have a bit of consideration for such "frivolous" things. She carried her basket and her scroll satchel for safe keeping.

[Shimizu Ryori]

"They expect us to read AND do math, what kind of samurai do they think we are Kyra?"

Shimizu Ryori is wandering the fields avoiding the peer pressure to do homework, and instead apparently spending the afternoon with his sister.

[Moshi Asakiko]

The Moshi heard the Lion and turned. "Blessings of the Lady Amaterasu, samurai sama." She bowed.

[Shimizu Ryori]

He bows in return "And to you Moshi sama, I am Shimizu Ryori and this is my sister Matsu Kyra" He waves to a patch of flowers nearby which seem to move slightly then part as the grass of the fields reveal the sleek blonde hair and golden eyes of the young lioness.

[Moshi Asakiko]

Asakiko bowed once again as the player didn't know if it was an animal or a real person but no mater what she showed her respect. "What brings you out here?"

"Kyra doesn't know how to read, or do her numbers yet, it wasn't part in her gempukku and she is a bit embarassed by the Ki-rin contest so I told her we could come out here and avoid the eyes that she is afraid would be staring at her if she ttied to work out thier puzzles" he smiles in such a way that makes one wonder if he is telling a joke or actually believes what he just said.

[Moshi Asakiko]

"I see..." The Moshi nodded quite puzzled by the Matsu. "I came here looking for flowers I want try and make a flower arrangement with our host's native flora."

[Shimizu Ryori]

"Ancestral flora? New lands flora?" he hmmms "not sure if native flora is a good term since this is the first time in 500 years ki-rin have set foot here" he smiles "but I am sure many of them would appreciate the effort, perhaps we could help?"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Arigatou, Shimitsu sama." the tiny Moshi gave a bow. "I am guessing that the Unicorn would have some place to call home here and now. These plains look pretty nice."

[Shimizu Ryori]

"Hai, these plains are where Lady Matsu fought Kakita in the finals of the first Emerald Championship. They are a beautiful place and historic. The dojo in town was built to teach Iajitsu and many lion have trained there for centuries. This village and the surrounding area is part of our welcome home gift to the ki-rin"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Ah that is why there is a lone shrine a top the hill." She gave a side nod. "Pardon my lack of knowledge of these plains." She picked a flower. "Ha... a nice one."

[Shimizu Ryori]

He nods "It commemorates the site of thier battle. The place where the first Hantei and his siblings stood to watch it." he smiles and leans down looking around he begins selecting a couple of nice flowers seeing what both are doing Kyra walks over to a patch of flowers and attempts to bite through a couple stalks and then bring them over hanging haphazardly from her mouth, Ryori waves her toward the Moshi.

[Moshi Asakiko]

"That must have been a great battle to watched." She looked at the lioness and smiled "Arigatou Kyra san." She took the flowers from the lioness.

[Shimizu Ryori]

He shakes his head "Not really, the tournament began at dawn, Lady Matsu arrived on time along with 100 other samurai, shortly before dusk there were less then five remaining, each beaten and bloody. The fight was open, without rules, last samurai standing. At that point, and only at that point Doji's husband stepped onto the field, fresh and well rested from sitting in the stands all day drinking tea and gossiping about the competitors. He dropped four of those standing with a single strike each, bowing to them after, it took him three to finish off the weakened and tired Lion champion, and he was so angry that she didnt fall after the first hit like he expected that he broke face and forgot to bow to her."

"Really that is a wonderful story. And I thank you for the lesson, Shimizu sama." She gave the Lion a bow. "I should pass to that shrine at some point this week and pay my respects."
