Soshi Taira wrote:For his part, Taira was a very pragmatic man. When told he needed to mix up stomach cures, he came, dressed as was usual, in plain and practical garb, one healer's kit slung over his arm.
With a faint sigh he surveyed the yurts, searching for the one he was to visit.
After a long pause, he registered that there was a very large animal sitting outside one, and provided it did not kill him, it was likely an indicator of his destination.
Stepping gingerly, he approached, hoping not to anger the lion.
Soshi Taira wrote:"I've heard as much... I suppose I was lucky, as I found the dinner quite agreeable."
With a small, conciliatory smile, he continued, "I'd be lying if I hadn't expected to be of use, though I didn't anticipate this being the first sort of aid I'd have to offer. I rather more expected bruises and bumps from over-ambitious attempts to impress."
He approached calmly, though still a little ill at ease at the thought of the Lion, at a moment's notice leaping upon him. It was so pretty and he wanted to pet it... but somehow felt that would be very, very, unwise.
The curse of being an avid cat person around a cat you couldn't pet.
"So, your message said that it was an imbalance of the elements after dinner, yes? Has it persisted?" As he spoke he began to rummage in the bag he had slung over his shoulder, taking count of what he had with him.
Soshi Taira wrote:"A true pity. I found it absolutely delicious. More so than the, 'kumis' which was acceptable but much less delicious... I would be dishonest if I said I did not have a newfound love for the sauce they cooked their fowl in, and the cheese that went with it..."
Taira chatted idly, as his hands sorted through his bag, extracting a collection of small jars and dried herbs.
"It may help to enjoy tea, first, while I prepare to balance the elements. It could cleanse the spirit. I would recommend something light, and slightly bitter. Green, if you have it. That or fresh water, as the imbalance will leave you deficient in water, the longer it lasts."
Bayushi Suteichi wrote:"Some green tea will suffice." he replied as he sat gingerly. "Maybe that will help loosen up some things."
Soshi Taira wrote:"Hai, it can be. Very much so."
Taira popped out a few stoppers with practiced motions, and began to measure things with an analytical glare, creating tiny piles of dried powders.
The antidote came together quite well, he thought, and soon he was whipping it together in a small wooden bowl.
