Would there be any interest in a game set in the new Infinity RPG? I'm reading over my pre-launch stuff, and I'm having a growing hankering for some cyberpunk with a dash of mecha.
I don't know enough about Infinity, myself, except that there's werewolves from space or something? Also badass TAG mecha things? All my knowledge of it comes from watching SlowFuse paint models so...
Though I love me some cyberpunk. *huggles Android* This one would be willing to at least take a look.
Also Space America is a mix of the Crab, common perceptions of the "Old West", and modern day American military look.
They guard the most active border with the wolf aliens that make people werewolves. With a mix of walls, fortified towns, and crazy guys that ride out into the wilderness to hunt. Also they have armored 18-wheelers and a road that if you go down and no one hears from you within 24 hours, you are considered dead.
Oh and they live on the poorest planet in human space alongside some crazy Russians, French, and Scots.
The main powers in the game are a sort of proto Hegemony of Man(from Hyperion) who also have a Space Pope and Space Knights(actual Military Orders) plus high tech stuff all over the place and space China(that is a weird mix of one of the old Imperial Dynasties and Communist China) with secret police and the old Mandarin rank system and brainwashing political prisoners to be human kamikazes....oh and they took over Space Japan, which is full on anime baby with cyber samurai and ninjas.
You also have the totally not Dune inspired Haqqislam that own the only (desert)planet where Silk, a miracle drug used in all high level medicine including life extension AND BRING THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE, is found.
The full on Cyberpunk Nomads who are a mixture of Big Boss's Outer Heaven, Hacker Crime Syndicate, and Anarchist anything and we mean anything goes radicals.
Then finally two alien factions: collection of sentient races that are assimilating everything for their great work and Space Elves that look like a mix between the Asari from Mass Effect and an artichoke.
Despite the snark I actually love the wargame and fine the setting amusing. XD
