(Day 9, LE) Fly Me to the Moon (Expecting)

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj waits just outside the area. He has his his white minks fur coat for evening chills, and tsur. He looks into the pale face of Lord Moon, slightly less imposing than over the past days, but still connecting well with passions not-so-dormant in Butaj. But he promises himself to be good. He must be, for the sake of them both, and so he tries to stare down Onnotangu.

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki didn't have any furs, well, no furs that weren't just meant to be for the floor, so she'd thrown on a few more layers of clothing, both against the chill and to help her stay composed during her walk with Butaj. She looked up at the moon and smiled as she approached Butaj with a smile. She examined his coat a little closer before giggling. "I would be careful showing that coat off to Ide Amaya. She adopted a weasel not too long ago."

[Moto Butaj]

"Getting friendly with articles of clothing is her choice." He chuckles, looking fondly at her when she arrives. The tension of his staring match with the Moon melts immediately. He steps closer. "Have you had a good day?"

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki nodded. "Mmm, it was quiet, I got a lot of reading done. You?" She moves up beside Butaj, lightly brushing against him as the both stand, silhouetted by the moon.

[Moto Butaj]

"Some working the tension off in the dojo, some visiting from kin. Lots of thinking of Yuki and missing her... you." His fingers seek hers in the dark. "What reading?"

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki's hand slid from her sleeves and took Butaj's, entwining her fingers with his quietly. "Umm, well. A pillowbook, I got from the little library Hirase has set up while we're here. Tomoe-san suggested it."

[Moto Butaj]

"One of those when people making love are described and drawn? Butaj has heard of those." He smiles, closing the grip on her hand with their fingers entwined. "So the Bunny is recommending them to you?"

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki blushed a bit at that. "Hai, one of those. I'd started reading it before you came over that night." Her blush grew stronger. "Hai, Tomoe-san has proven to be a good friend here. She was trained in the Asako school, as well, so she's easy to talk to."

[Moto Butaj]

He considers with a fond smile. After his talk with Yuuru he has a healthier attitude to it. "Butaj... I am happy you ponder such things, my love. I want you to have high expectations of me, so I can meet them and exceed them." He squeezes her hand affectionately. "I can't stop thinking of how passionate you can be."

[Asako Yuki]

Yuki blushed and squeezed Butaj's hand again. "You gave me the incentive to want to. I hope that I can keep up." The mention of her passion got a pause out of her.

"That night. I, I did like it, but I feel I should at least explain myself." She looked down at the ground in embarrassment.

[Moto Butaj]

"If you are comfortable with it." He smiles, taking a step off the lights so they can enjoy evening air without tumults of the camp. He squeezes her hand again to reassure her. "I know the most important thing. All else follows that."

[Asako Yuki]

"I'd been smoking hashish, before you arrived. Between that, the kumis, and my empty stomach, well." She smiled a little sheepishly. "I didn't have as much control of myself as much as I should have." Her smile grew softer. "Of course, you may be a little to blame, I couldn't get your song to me out of my mind." She dipped her head a little and pushed one of the stray strands of hair that fell to the side, behind an ear.

[Moto Butaj]

"Hashish. So that was the smell! Butaj remembers now." He looks concerned. "But why? Do you do it often? And where do you take it from?" He reaches out to brush her cheek with part of the back of your hand. "It might not be good for you. Butaj saw people wretched by hashish." To soften the questions he tries to smile. "I accept the blame. Butaj will learn to compose love songs which don't make hashish necessary."

[Asako Yuki]

"My father occasionally manages to trade for it. A few Burning Sands merchants make it to the Yobanjin tribes." Yuki explained as she leaned a bit into the touch. "It helps to calm my nerves." She explained why she took it. "It's not that bad really, aside from the stink of it. I've thought at times of investing in a hookah and some herbs to sweeten the smell a bit, but..." She shrugged. "If you say it's bad, I'll try to cut back." She smiled up at him and turned towards him. "I think, maybe finding new ways to ease my nerves may help a bit there, neh?" She grinned.

[Moto Butaj]

Happy that she is willing to put the drug aside, he lets his thoughts jump to the meaning of her grin. "Butaj wouldn't worry too much about finding ways to soothe you. After all your future husband is a performance artist." And only then he grins back. His hand is still brushing her cheek gently. "I... was impressed by your passion that night. I would be sad if it was mostly hashish, kumis and empty stomach."
