She sighs softly, not unhappy, but perhaps weary, "the days do seem to grow more testing. The Moto events were complex and absorbed so much time and energy. I cannot help but wonder if the Iuchi have more of the same planned for us, or if there will be respite in the final days."

Hideo frowned. "Is there anything I can do to help you relax, my love?"

[Ide Amaya]

Shyly, as if ashamed to ask, "perhaps..." another sigh, "I should like if you would brush my hair, and perhaps I could play the kogo a little?"

[Seppun Hideo]

"That would be lovely" Hideo said, a smile growing finally "I do so love listening to you play, and your hair is lovely. Pass me your brush, and we can do that."

[Ide Amaya]

She extracts the comb from where she keeps it in her kimono sleeve and passes it to him before kneeling and reaching for the kugo. She turns, giving him her back, "untie my obi if you wish, so that it will not be in the way."

Hideo bit his lip at her comment, which she couldn't see from behind her, but he nodded and carefully unties her obi. Moving it out of the way afterwards. After that, he brushes through the length of her hair gently but thoroughly.

She plays, but the comb tugs at a knot in her hair and momentarily distracts her and she misses a note.

"Good" he leaned in to place a kiss where the knot had been, and resumed brushing carefully again. "You really do have such soft hair. It's a pleasure to brush it."

[Ide Amaya]

"Almost as much pleasure as it is to have it brushed, I imagine. The brush pulls on my hair and it sends tingles across my scalp and raises little bumps all down my arms." She continues playing, idly.

[Seppun Hideo]

He paused in the brushing to run his fingers gently through her hair. "I'm glad you enjoy it. I shall brush it every day from now on then, so you can always enjoy the feeling."

"Each night, last thing before bed..? she wonders, more to herself than to him.

[Seppun Hideo]

"Every night" Hideo agreed with a nod "to help you relax before you fall asleep in my arms. Sounds ideal to me."
