Ooh, breweries! Re the weather: I'm going at the end of April because I'll be running around the wildlife refuge and it'll be more bearable.

Yeah, you can google austin breweries to find a few, or maybe more then a few. Adelberts, 512, oasis, independence, and Jester King are one's I can think of off the top of my head though.
As for the weather, April is usually pretty, so it's a good time. Most of the wild flowers came early this year though.
