D5 [LE] Hail! Hail! Rock N Roll! (OPEN)

[Iuchi Saksaha]

Iuchi Saksaha also has come to hear this Rokugani music. To her surprise she finds that the performance is actually a mix of sounds and tunes she already knows and those she does not, peculiar and interesting. And not at all bad!

She stands at the edge of the firelight with her head cocked, seemingly listening intently. Though sooner or later she'd better find something to drink.

[Miya Mei]

"I doubt that." he smiled. "All you need to do is move as the music leads you and enjoy yourself."

"Hm, perhaps Shinjo-san is correct. Like this then?"

Mei closes her eyes and listens to the music for a moment before beginning her dance.

She sways her hips slightly and does a few basic footsteps, but it is nothing fancy, or even all that graceful.

She lifts her fan to her face again and looks back to the Unicorn.

"See, all left feet"

She lets out a small laugh from behind the fan.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I wouldn't know. I wasn't looking at your feet." he grinned. "All that matters is that you enjoy yourself."

[Miya Mei]

Another giggle behind the fan.

"Oh, you flatter me Shinjo-san."

She takes a few half dance half steps toward the man, her back turned. Looking over her shoulder at him she gives a raised eyebrow.

"So what were you looking at?"

Her fan snaps closed and she spins around to face him again.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Your fan." he answered. "In hopes of glimpsing what was behind it."

[Miya Mei]

Another soft giggle.

Mei does a slow spin her silks from the kimono flaring out. When she stops, she gently lowers and closes her fan to touch her chest, revealing a flirtatious smile.

Her eyes twinkle for a moment as she looks into Kemuri's, and then quickly snaps her fan open and covers her face again, he body spinning in time with the music.

Her moves are slightly more elegant than before, more in time with the rhythm being produced for those who chose to listen to its beat.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

When Suteichi was done playing he looked around the crowd for Liu Fei. Not seeing her he took a quick rest before he played again.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

Mei does a slow spin her silks from the kimono flaring out. When she stops, she gently lowers and closes her fan to touch her chest, revealing a flirtatious smile.

Her eyes twinkle for a moment as she looks into Kemuri's, and then quickly snaps her fan open and covers her face again, he body spinning in time with the music.

He smiled appreciatively at the flirtation and clapped as she found her groove.

"You see? The music guides you."

[Miya Mei]

"And such strange music it is. I have never heard anything like it."

She moves in a little closer.

"So, other than ensnaring maidens with your dance, what do you enjoy, Shinjo-san?"

She twirls her fan a little before closing it completely and restong it at her side

[Shiba Kaizen]

As Suteichi took his break Kaizen took a very brief moment to drink some water. As the Scorpion returned the Shiba started the next song. It was a bit faster in pace as it seems the somber mood was beginning to lighten and he hoped that trend would continue.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"And such strange music it is. I have never heard anything like it."

She moves in a little closer.

"So, other than ensnaring maidens with your dance, what do you enjoy, Shinjo-san?"

She twirls her fan a little before closing it completely and restong it at her side

"I ride. I hunt. I tell stories." he shrugged. "But, I may need to do this more."

[Miya Mei]

Mei lets a smile briefly show on her uncovered face for a moment before doing another spin.

"That you should. Perhaps we could ride together. I brought my pony with."

Her eyes light up mischeviously.

"Unless you werent talking about horses..."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Either way. I would love to see Miya-sama ride." he smiled.

[Miya Mei]

"It is what we are known for, Shinjo-san. Now that the Unicorn have returned, we will have to see who can outride who"

Another smile and another twirl.

"Though I do imagine you to have much more stamina, after a ride so long"

She giggles again and pulls the fan back up to her face to cover the redness spreading along her cheeks

The little Lion's second attempt at joining in the dance is much better. It seems he prefers the music this time around.
