Lucky.
Where I live everyone was very stingy and tight fisted, ultra competitive too. It had to be value for value, and a binder full of rares they didn't need for their tournament decks were worth less than the cardboard they were printed on. Mostly just a group of a dozen or so guys focused on the current meta and winning tournaments.
It was almost the opposite of welcoming.
Heck, my first L5R rpg experience was with that group and they picked on me and my character because I was shy -_-
