Day 5 [EA] Darkness Is Spreading (Mizuki's Room)

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi did not have time to change after his workout session with Kogo. He went straight to Mizuki's room to check on her. He was still somewhat sweaty, a feeling he did not like at all but that did not matter to him. He scratched at her door and awaited her.

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki wasn't expecting any company. She was getting ready to leave while thinking of her previous meeting. Upon hearing the scratch, she puts on her mask and opens the door. "Oh. Sutiechi-kun." Shit. She wanted to see him. But she didn't. Largely for the same reason. She loved him.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

When she closed the door, Suteichi took his mask off and approached her to kiss her.

"Mizuki-chan. I heard what happened. I'm glad you are alright. Oh! Apologies for my appearance. I was in the dojo. No time to freshen up."

[Yogo Mizuki]

When she closed the door, Suteichi took his mask off and approached her to kiss her.

"Mizuki-chan. I heard what happened. I'm glad you are alright. Oh! Apologies for my appearance. I was in the dojo. No time to freshen up."

She takes her mask off and kisses him. But she's confused. "What do you mean? What happened?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"You haven't heard?! There was some sort of creature that attacked the Western Fields. Some sort of sea snake. I do not know who all was involved but I have heard the description that one of fighters was an Otaku who was killed by the creature. There was also a one-armed woman involved with the fight. I only know of one and that was Shinjo Liu Yue-san. I know Liu Fei-chan is looking for her."

He realized he let slip calling Fei, chan. The only woman he had ever called chan was Mizuki.

[Yogo Mizuki]

"Oh. I heard. I just wondered if something else happened." Mizuki gives him a reassuring smile. "Do not worry. I do not plan on fighting giant snake monsters anytime soon."

At the mention of Liu Yue's name. Nope. Not going to bring that up. "I'm sure she is fine. I heard it was an Otaku that died." Mizuki doesn't react the slip. Liu Fei-chan? I mean, he is looking to marry her. I slept with her sister last night. I am far from innocent. But logic doesn't stop the pain of the heart.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

He let out a sigh.

"I...I hope that Liu Fei finds her... I feel somewhat guilty. She should have been with her sister instead of with me."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki tries to comfort him even if the jealousy is creeping up her. "It will be alright. After all, meeting each other is what we are supposed to be doing." So late, Sutiechi-kun? But what can I say? I slept with the sister. It's not right to get mad. I'm the guilty one here.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Shinjo Liu Yue came to my yurt prior to Liu Fei last night. We had a long talk. She was asking about my intentions for Liu Fei and if I was able to provide for her. We talked for a while. I should have kept her there or at least saw her back to her yurt." Suteichi sat down on a cushion.

"Liu Fei and I spent the night together. Nothing happened. We talked. Had tea. Chinsuko... It was nice."

[Yogo Mizuki]

"Oh." Mizuki turns away blushing. You can't say the same? Whore! Just like you're mother. How can I betray him if he's not mine? It still felt like a betrayal. "You don't need to explain anything to me. We are here find someone else after all." At least, he could marry Liu Fei. Why did you do it? Because you wanted be nice to her? You know that's a lie. You were depressed. You used her and her feelings to make yourself feel better. You're worse than your mother. Mizuki quickly wipes away the tears.

"It best you did not escort her. You would have not been able to help against a giant serpent. She is fine."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"She's fine?!" Suteichi picked up on that. "How do you know?! Have you seen her?! Where is she?! Liu Fei is worried!"

[Yogo Mizuki]

"I heard about the battle after it happened. I was told that an Otaku died and a Mantis came close. I do not know where she is. I assume she would have found her sister if she did not last night." Mizuki is very good at hiding things. But Sutiechi knows her well.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi looked at her curiously. "Hmmm... you are certain of that? You said she is fine... I hope Liu Fei finds her. So what did you do during the storm last night?"

[Yogo Mizuki]

"I assume nothing has happened to her since the battle. I am sure the sisters are together again." The last part is true. Mizuki assumed that's where Yue went after leaving her room.

"I was here. The benefits of having a room. I had some drinks with Yuichi. And I went to bed after he left." Mizuki leaves out the part where Yue woke her up, declared her love for her, and then slept with her.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Oh..." drinks with him... "Well you were safe... Yogo-sempai, we do need to talk."
