Need help for avatar?

I find that the Photobucket-editing tends to lessen the quality of the image, compared to Photoshop. I've used it a few times when I haven't had my Photoshop open (and I've been lazy) and for really small stuff it's fine, but for avatar-size, I tend to notice that some of the quality is reduced.

Or I'm just imagening things?

Honestly, I don't have that eye for image quality, so it really doesn't bother me unless it's really bad.

Crop as you see fit using the crop tool

Then in the layer menu, click Scale Layer and set the pixels.

Then in the Image menu click Canvas to Layer.

Finally, click Export As under the File menu.

Since I do most things on my phone, I use PhotoEditor or QuickPic.

I had an avatar picked out, but I noticed that she has purple hair, and that same pic in black hair is not the same <_<

Purple hair in pictures is not necessarily a reality so much as a convention for representing a culture with almost all the same hair color with a little more variety. In other words, purple is not necessarily purple.

That said?

I'm told these are the equivalent of Chinese bodice ripper covers. Many, many young smiling women in genre appropriate clothing, and an unfortunately large number of repeat images.
