Gathering the excess fabric of the robe Hideo had loaned her, she moved to his right side to begin again at the ankle. But this time, as she reached his knee, it began to dawn on her that she was about to run into something of a problem. To attend his thigh and hip, she would need to move the remaining fabric that was draped over his body.
Then he will have nothing on, she observed, rather stupidly. It hadn't actually occured to her that he would be more than simply unclothed, but if it had, she might not have done what she did next.
Reaching across the Imperial, she took up the left side of his kimono. She pulled it across and let it settle over the lower half of his body like a blanket, nudging it back from the limb she was working on so the fabric draped between his legs. And then she took the right side of the kimono and... slowly... she began to draw the silk fabric from beneath the layer she had just draped over him.
She was trying to be careful, she thought if she jerked too quickly, the movement may allow the soft fabric to flutter away in both directions. And so it was carefully that she drew that fabric, that soft silk, across his groin and hip.
