Tomoe laughed a little. "You sure you can handle that? Tsukimi-san will be much more capable of delivering on her threats than I am."

"I hope she's as nimble mentally as you are. That's your most interesting part." He smiled.

"Physical prowess, I'm either too over-confident or too strong to worry much about a rival."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Now that I will let be her little secret... not going to give you any advantages over her, after all," she smirked.

[Soshi Yuuru]

"Like the ones I have over you?" He said with a handsome smile.

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Ohohoho, you have no power over me," Tomoe said in a dramatic tone as if she was quoting from a play.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled again and looked into her eyes, "Really? None whatsoever?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

"None!" she said with a defiant grin.

[Soshi Yuuru]

"Well then... I may have to turn on my scary face sometime so you stop taking me so lightly." He said with a chuckle.

[Usagi Tomoe]

Her lips pursed in thought as she considered this 'threat'. "Your... scary face?"

[Soshi Yuuru]

He chuckled, "I'm usually not this nice all the time. Only people I like get to see this side the most."

He winked and smiled, "Soshi magistrates aren't known for kindness though. I think you'd be surprised with how scary I can be."

He then put his hand on his mask, "Fortunately I don't think there'll ever be a time to display that particular skill set to you. I know I certainly don't want my beautiful Hare friend thinking I'm a terrifying and repulsive man.... So if my normal charms aren't working, I guess I'll just have to put up with having no influence over you for the time being."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"How scary, Yuu-kun," she said, looking at him with pouty lips and big doe-eyes. Tomoe didn't mind playing along a little, after all.

[Soshi Yuuru]

He grimaced a smile, "Ah... How you tempt me Tomoe-chan. But no... I'll save those skills for some other time."

[Usagi Tomoe]

She dropped the little charade with a smile. "Hah... it's all good. I prefer my friend Yuu-kun when he's smiling anyway."

[Soshi Yuuru]

He smiled for her at that comment. "Good. Nice to know all my work hasn't completely gone to waste."

He winked at her again.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Yuki's smile turned into a grin as the horse nuzzled at her. "His nose is so soft." She whispered, mostly to herself, as she moved a bit closer to pat the horse and scratch at his chin. She figured that if dogs liked it, horses probably would too.

""How long have you had him, then? Since gempukku? Or was he the horse you rode when you were training?"

Gokiburi remained still as she scratched his chin, seemingly unresponsive to the show of affection. "Gokiburi has been with me since my gempukku, yes. My first partner. We've grown pretty close after our long ride to return home."
