Correct. If you check the text of Disbeliever, it specifically makes it clear that it's not about atheism, it's about not having any faith in the system.

The Kolat absolutely believe that there is an afterlife with gods. That's the entire point.

The Fairuz are 100% Rokugani. With the exception of their daimyo, they're not even gaijin (he's just a half-breed). Why wouldn't they believe in an afterlife?

Moto are part of the Unicorn... and joined the Unicorn because they met a literal god, at which point they turned their backs on their own death gods. As a family, there's no reason why the Moto wouldn't be just as religious as any other samurai.

For some reason I thought that there were some folks that are legitimate atheists. 20 years playing this game and you'd think I wouldn't make silly mistakes like that.
