Random number generators are random and care not for our pain. But I find Orokos a lot more quick and intuitive to use than I remember Invisible Castle used to be, so I'm happy enough with it.

I too have been dropping loads of good rolls on fluff, it feels like. But that's part of life with random numbers too.

I remember not having any problems with Invisible Castle, but I can't remember how the coding was. At least Orokos is fairly easy to use, and I really enjoy the Campaign Logs. Usually always have that window open to see what people are doing.

I only had but a limited experience with Invisible Castle (think I started playing in HT sometime just before the transition over) but I agree with all of the statements about Orokos' ease of use and how fun it is, as Tomoe says, to see what everyone else is up to

Like during the fight against the orochi, amidst all the fight-rolls, there was suddenly a Perform: Flute-roll. Very amusing.

I remember IC dice coding being a lot more cumbersome. But I guess now I can't go back and look. It was kinda dying by the time I returned to PbP after a several-years' hiatus, so I really don't remember it well, only being glad there was a better alternative!

This gets me every time, too. Or egg hunting in the final minutes of a tense fight. I just imagine it all happening in the same place.

I played a blind Lion Bard for years in a campaign where Daimyos regularly swore you to secrecy about stuff.

My favorite quote was "I promise to tell everyone I see daimyo domo" every time they demanded an oath.

Then Jurojin cured his blindness
