"The bit goes in his mouth, that is right. He can't see you behind him, and he does not understand much speech, so the bit is how you must talk to him." Saksaha mimes holding a horse's reins. "He feels the bit on his tongue, the soft part of his mouth. A good rider will not pull hard and hurt him, only enough to talk. But a bad horse, or one that has been badly treated, will take the bit between his teeth instead." She bares her own teeth to show what she means. "Then he cannot feel when you pull gently, and you must wrestle his head around by main strength instead. This is not good for horse or rider."

He nodded, "That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for explaining it; there's still much I have to learn of your lifestyle."

He smiled, "I'd have to say I'm looking for much of the same. I'd like a woman with intelligence, one who can talk and listen. A partner to work together with in all matters of running a house. Someone I can trust, and someone who I can respect."

His smile and tone were as genuine as he could muster, "I'd never allow my wife to be treated with disrespect... or as an artifact or some kind of object. I'd want her to find purpose and fulfillment in her duties to our lord... So... yeah... a partner is my preference too."

[Iuchi Saksaha]

"Hm." Saksaha twists the end of a strand of beads between her fingers. "All this is good to know. I will think on your words, Soshi-san."

She remembers to smile!

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru smiles in return, there's something about this woman's smile which leaves a warm residue in his chest.

"Please do. And let's meet again soon." He smiled warmly and bowed.

[Iuchi Saksaha]

"As you say," she concurs, and takes his bow as a cue to bow as well.
