Yuichi needed some moments alone with his thoughts. He came to the Western fields, after drinking at Yuzuki's dinner party, to have a moment of solitude. He wanted to be alone with nature. He made a fire to keep him warm and to have some light. Also he began to cook a fish with a stick.

Yuichi was quite a superstitious man. He brought his kawaru coin set as he wanted to consult about his possible future here at the miai. He did not believe he was going to get married but it was worth to see what kind of future could happen to him. Perhaps a glimpse into the future could deliver some worthy answers.

After a few moment of silent meditation and communion with the elements he threw his kawaru coins and inspected the patterns inside the bowl.
