Liu Fei's words, so clearly meant, not just said for flattery, eased Tomonaga's defensiveness instantly. He relaxed, leaning back again. His eyes, light brown in color, watched her steadily as she spoke, glinting lightly in the morning sun. His expression was... intrigued. "I'm glad you see it that, Shinjo-san." He said quietly.
Finally, though, he laughed. "No, definitely not. Hey, we're Golden Carp." He said, his tone joking. "We don't cut corners. Especially not if I was in charge of things. Beat the competition with good product and good deals, that's what I always say."
"Ok, Shinjo-san. It's a deal." Tomonaga spun his cup in his fingers, watching it. "We'll do it. In a day or so, maybe? I can send you a note with the time and place, and like I said, I'll be bringing the good stuff. You... bring yourself." His gaze lifted from the cup, back to her with a smile. "I think I'm looking forward to it already."
