She recalls, before the event ended with having to turn over the pup, cradling four of the little fluff balls, a sort of puppy sitter for an all too brief moment. Smiling, "I do not think that would be entirely terrible."

"Nor do I." he smiled. "I wish I had such a way with animals, but beyond Sarangerel I can't say I've connected that well with anything."

Her smile curled in a sly way, "I wouldn't say that. Miya-sama certainly seems taken with you."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"That's true." he smiled. "I am quite taken with her and she is far more preferable to any pet I might want."

[Ide Amaya]

"There is something to be said for having both," and she touched Satsujin's fur, as if reassuring herself her was still there, "but one cannot be greedy."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He nodded. "For now, it's probably best if I focus on acquiring one before considering the other."

[Ide Amaya]

"And I wish you the greatest luck. She is a good woman, and Ti-Lu is one of the finest steeds I've had the pleasure to ride." That memory makes her grin.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"They outraced Sarangerel and I." he nodded. "We still need to have a rematch."

[Ide Amaya]

"Oh?" she raises an eyebrow a little. "Ti-Lu is swift, but I thought surely you allowed her to win, as a gesture of your favour. Don't worry, I will keep your secret," her quiet laugh is musical.

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He shook his head. "No, she won legitimately. I haven't insisted on another race as a gesture of my favor."

[Ide Amaya]

She chuckles, "in that case, your secret is definitely safe with me."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Thank you, Ide-sama." he dipped his head. "Is your match secured?"

[Ide Amaya]

Smiling brightly, "oh yes," she won't know until morning how precarious the rankings would look. "The Fortunes blessed me, and I am quite eager for the last day to begin."

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"I am a bit nervous." he admitted. "There's still much that can change. One way or another, however, I will be happy for this all to be over."

[Ide Amaya]

She nods, understanding, she herself was relying on Hideo's skills to get through the final two events and preserve his right to pick. "Still, the uncertainty weighs on me, though I have been lucky. Even for ill, I would rather it all be done."
