(Day 7, LE) Hold Me... In a Headlock

Moving back up to a standing position, he offers a hand up to the Lioness. "Are you going to train grappling with Noboru as well? I wonder how many people out there are crazy enough to grapple a lion."

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo laughs. "I suspect you are correct Monkh-san, that I would have few takers. Though Matsu Yurio did attempt it earlier. Noburu won of course." She smiles.

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"I imagine that grappling a lion is a dangerous prospect, but I could see her not knowing exactly how to deal with it against someone exceptionally skilled," he says. "I wonder if it's something she'd take to, at least in order to figure out how to break free of a hold."

[Matsu Kogo]

She looks puzzled. "It is a problem, that she cannot use most of her weapons. But her strength is quite sufficient. Yurio-san certainly found it so."

"It's just a curios thought for me. I don't really know how many people out there are up for lion wrestling," he replies with a chuckle.

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles. "Yurio-san is no doubt more used to the lions than others might be. Though he trained in Akodo lands, he would have seen them when he was in Matsu lands. He and Noburu have spent some time together." She looks at Monkh-san, wondering what the future holds for them, her face a tinch pensive.

He takes her hand. "Well, I think I'm doing okay for someone that never saw one before," he says with a smile.

[Matsu Kogo]

She smiles. "You have done wonderfully. But I would expect nothing less." She says, with a impish cast to her eyes. "After all, one must live in the present."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"It does help that I'm used to dealing with animals larger than myself. There's no sense of intimidation from size. Just from the teeth," he says with a chuckle. "And the claws."

[Matsu Kogo]

She chuckles with him. "They are significant. I suspect I forgot about them sometimes, I am so used to her. She is gentle with me and listens well. Even when she pretends she is not."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Should we head back now?" he asks. They had practiced a fair amount already.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo looks at him and thinks likely, it has been enough for a day. "I suspect it is getting late. We shall need our rest for tomorrow. Do you wish me to escort you to your tent or will you find your way from here?"

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"I'll be taking Meushi back to the stables. If you wanted to walk that far with us before returning to your yurt that would be fine, but yes, I would like to get some rest before tomorrow," he agrees with a nod.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo nods. "It is on my way, and then I can part ways with you. I would like to say goodnight to Meushi as well."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"Sounds like a plan," he says with a nod, moving to collect his things and put his top back on.
