"Which is why I talked to him." Hirase was, as always, unflappable. "He cares for you, and will want to make your union pleasant in all ways. That required him to know that you are less experienced and, frankly, I did not think that you would be able to bring yourself to tell him so as bluntly as it requires. Now that he knows, and now that you know he does, it should be easier to discuss particulars."

Yuki fidgeted in annoyance and acceptance of Hirase's words, but it was also becoming apparent that the effects of the hashish and kumis were starting to wear off, as Yuki let out a silent yawn and covered her mouth with her hand. "Ah, gomen, Hirase-san."

He saw it and, smiling, rose again.

"Yume-do seeks you, I think. I'll leave you to it." Bowing, he said, "I wish you pleasant dreams, Cousin."

Then he saw himself out.

Yuki smiled. "So do I." Yuki wished her cousin well and tied the flap shut behind him before bedding down among the furs to dream of Butaj as her cheeks turned a rosy pink.
