No, I suspect we shall have to wait some time before taking this path" Hideo smiled "my cousin is truly thinking ahead though, and it is impressive."

"It is part of my duty, to see how we might best serve, and my training, being a bit different from most, allows me to see things a little different from most."

"Speaking of, I understand I may have met my cousin-in-law to be, should one of you have the choice."

"Is that so?" Hideo looked curious "Ide Amaya?"

"Hai. She was, in fact, the one that got me the item that seems most likely to have upset me. Tea, served with a butter. It tasted quite good, but knocked me over the next day. Still, I found our time together quite enjoyable, and I think she would make a good fit for you."

[Seppun Hideo]

"Tea...with butter?" There was a small frown "I'm sure she didn't mean to make you ill, cousin, but perhaps you should avoid dairy products from now on as a precaution?"

He smiled though and bowed. "Thank you for your kind words. What did you think of her?"

"I am thinking that is a good idea. It tastes quite good, but my system doesn't seem to like it that much."

She thinks. "I did like her. She is dedicated to learning how to act in the Empire, but with some knowledge of what had happened in the Burning Sands. A good in-between, I would think. And, she seemed happy enough at the idea of the two of you together, a good bonus."

"I believe we would be very well suited, and I very much enjoy her company. But what of you cousin? Surely there are favorable matches among the males?"

"Not as yet. None really caught my eye, and the one I have spoken to the most evoked more of a feeling of siblinghood, not of spousehood. I will continue to search people out. I am interested in Iuchi Dong-Ha-san, as he is the most Spiritual inclined of the men I have found, but that is for duty, naught more."
