(D9, EM, Open & Expecting) - The List

[Togashi Udo]

Udo arrived early at the administrative center, intending to take a look at the list... the dreaded list.

He'd been on top of it for some time now, which he was quite conflicted about. On one hand, he'd done the Dragon proud and would have a good choice at the miai... on the other hand, he had to make a choice. And Udo didn't often like making choices.

He looked at the list again and sighed.

[Ide Samai]

Samai was there, looking at.... DA LEEST as well. The slight smell off roses was around her. She didn't seem to notice the Dragon standing there.

[Togashi Udo]

Udo turns to her and a look of slight surprise crosses his face. "Hello, Ide-sama. I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting... this one is Togashi Udo." He bows to her.

[Ide Samai]

Samai was slightly taken aback, but quickly regained her composure. She turned to him, bowing as well. "Greetings as well Togashi-san. It is a pleasure to meet you." She smiled widely. "I hope you have enjoyed the miai so far?"

[Togashi Udo]

"What is not to like?" He says with a smile. "The Unicorn are good hosts and have provided interesting challenges... What about you? I see you're looking at the list. Is there someone you've got your eyes on?"

[Ide Samai]

"We could observe your enjoyment Togashi-san, at least based on your rankings so far." She glanced at the list. "Perhaps... there are a few things I'm mulling over. And yourself Togashi-san?"

[Togashi Udo]

"I am trying to make no decision until I make the last decision." He gives a one shoulder shrug. "We shall see how it goes."

"So what do you have to mull over. Perhaps I can offer some advice?"

[Ide Samai]

"Oh, how mysterious... it seems it is true what they say about your family? That you like to talk in riddles?" She was only a littl perturbed by the answer, but decided to power on.

"Well... in my case it is simpler. There is a small chance I will get to make a choice at all."

[Togashi Udo]

Udo chuckles. "We don't like to speak directly. Is it not better if my words inspire you to come to your own conclusions than to give you one?" He shrugs it off. "I do not always speak in this way, though."

"That is simple, though not really better. Have you met one you'd like to choose or be chosen by? I believe you sang for Tomonaga-sama, did you not?"

[Ide Samai]

"You just like teasing people, be honest." She winked at the Togashi, then blushed at his next question. "H-Hai... but he sang for Yukarin, and they will probably marry." She shrugged. "Seppun-san might choose me... I did get a song dedicated from him, after all. Besides that... I do not know. So, how about you? Chosen yet?"

[Togashi Udo]

"I... cannot deny the fun of it. There is something to be said for being a bit confusing."

Udo scratches his chin. "I can understand why you'd like Tomonaga-sama; he is a good man. I am sorry that it is not working out the way you'd hope." Udo frowns a bit.

"I haven't made a choice myself. I have been quite enamored of the Unicorn in general, but it is hard to make such a large decision in such a short time. And there are those, like yourself, I haven't met yet."

[Ide Samai]

Samai shrugged easily. "I would enjoy the match, but then, marriage is a Duty, not a hobby, neh?" She asked with a small smile, then turned teasing.

"Oh? You wish to meet all the Unicorn woman who are eligible Togashi-san? Anyone that catch your eye in particular?"

[Togashi Udo]

Udo smiles. "I wouldn't mind if marriage was both duty and hobby, but I'll settle for only one if I must. I would say that I currently have my eye on Saksaha-san. She is wise and thoughtful, and has behaved quite honorably throughout the miai." He thinks. "But as I said, it is hard not to like the Unicorn that I've met. It is certain the Dragon and Unicorn will remain good friends."

[Ide Samai]

"That is exceedingly pleasant to hear to my ears as an emissary and a diplomat Togashi-san." She smiled genuinely. "Iuchi-san? Would she then join the Togash, I assume?" She tried to envision Saksaha with tattoos... wow, she'd look badass!

[Togashi Udo]

"I believe so. But I don't make those sorts of decisions. We shall see what happens... Either way, I've learned a lot while I have been here."
