He smiled, "You're quite beautiful this up close you know?"

He then kicked out her feet from under her and dropped her to the ground.

Fei was starting to glare at him before her feet were suddenly swept out from underneath her. Hitting the ground with a thud and a low groan with how she had fallen. This time, she just laid there and let out a long sigh, "I hate you," she said, but the weight of the words weren't there. It was a lighter note than the words seemed to imply.

He smiled and extended a hand to help her up.

"I have that effect on women I'm told."

"Whoever told you that is wise," she teased on a heavier breath. Reaching up to accept the offer of being helped to her feet.

Yuuru helped the woman up and dusted her shoulders off a bit as she stood up beside him.

"Doesn't change the fact of what I said." He said with a handsome smile.

Fei just raised a brow at his rather friendly and rather confident behavior, "What are you hoping to get out of that?"

He chuckled, "Perhaps a friend. Hell... who knows with the way things going. Maybe more."

"So you're trying to save yourself from being married to a woman who does not like you? Would not be married to you?" she questioned with a look, she felt she had the answer there. It made the most sense to her after all. Why else would he be so randomly... kind? Nice? What was even the word to describe that sorta thing. Fei didn't know, it was out of her field of expertise.

He smiled, "Were it to happen that way... yeah I think I'd prefer my wife to not hate me. Perhaps not love me... but at least hold some level of respect if possible."

"For your sake and mine I hope it does not turn out that way Soshi-san," she responded. It wasn't heavy, lighter. Not holding the intent to wound but show parity.

He chuckled, "No pulling the punches eh?"

"Would you?" she asked, brow raised. Shaking her head she decided he might have actually.

He smiled and shook his head, "I don't think I'd be so unhappy if that was to be our fate. You appear to be a strong woman. That's something I can respect."

"You are strange, Soshi-san, but you have a strength and ability I cannot deny," she offered in turn. "Regardless, do you really think you and I would manage as partners? I doubt we share many of the same goals or opinions."

He smiled, "How would we know that unless we shared what those are? What are your goals Shinjo-san?"
