Samai wasn't sure what she was doing there... besides staring out in the air.

She noticed the Seppun standing not far from the dragon lake. She bowed "Greetings Seppun-san." she said slowly.

[Seppun Hideo]

Hideo turned at the voice, having not heard the approach. He noted the mon, but it was not the Ide he knew. She received a bow.

"Ide-sama, good morning. I hope you are well?" He asked with a polite smile.

[Ide Samai]

"I.. am well." Lying took some effort. "Yourself Seppun-san? I hope you are enjoying our hospitality so far."

[Seppun Hideo]

"I am well. I have enjoyed my time at this miai, and my time spent with the Unicorn in general. You and your kin have been welcoming and friendly, and I am honoured to have been given such a warm welcome. I look forward to marrying one of the honourable samurai-ko gathered here" Hideo gave the woman a smile "it is good to have our brothers and sisters from beyond the Empire back with us."

[Ide Samai]

"That is good to hear Seppun-san." She gave a small nod of her head. "It is certainly a grand occasion, and I am t hank you for the hospitality of the Empire. It is good to be welcomed back after centuries."

She looked down at the dragon fall. "Are you looking forward to today's evening?"

[Seppun Hideo]

"Is what you have seen of the Empire so far what you had expected? I'm curious what the samurai beyond the Empire were expecting" Hideo asked, before looking back over the lake.

"Ah...singing. I look forward to the performances by those with singing skills. I just hope to not be embarrassing."

[Ide Samai]

"Well.. I myself wasn't sure what to expect. We had our stories that were passed down, but those are from an old time. Whatever I was expecting, I guess some of that is in the Empire, wasn't it." She smiled at him as she said it. "Yet it is better this way I feel... it is good to discover something new even after centuries of travel."

[Seppun Hideo]

"For those in Rokugan, discovering something new is a visit to Otosan Uchi, or the Shinomen Mori. Not travelling from beyond Rokugan into Rokugan" he chuckled, returning the smile "is there a sight from beyond Rokugans borders that you remember the most?"
