Walk through the Fire (D7, EE, Open)

[Shinjo Taichi]

After learning of what had transpired at the event, Taichi was making sure that everyone was being reminded of the fact that the Unicorn were good people, really. Of course, his mere presence was all that was required for this, so he wandered around the camps of the other clans, flashing smiles and bowing gracefully to all he met.

Seeing a campfire, he approached. Seeing the Matsu, he approached slightly faster. Something had seemed... off about her earlier, and he was a little worried about her. Still, such things weren't to be brought up in public, so he would led her his presence. Surely that would help.

As he came to the fire, he bowed to those present. "A good evening to you all." Winning smile engaged. "This one is Shinjo Taichi. Would it be acceptable for me to join you at your fire?"

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo smiles. "I hope someone has found Matsu-san's cat. I am sure it is fine, but I suspect Matsu-san would be more comfortable if he knew where it was."

[Seppun Hideo]

"I cannot claim to be an expert in such matters Matsu-san, but she appears to have been raised very well" Hideo said with a smile to the Matsu woman, although the Moshi received a chuckle for her words "surely the smaller cats would be...rather intimidated by Noburo?"

The arriving Shinjo received a stand and a bow from Hideo. "Good evening Shinjo-san. I am Seppun Hideo, priest of the Imperial Families. Matsu-san has set this up so any are welcome to join, although I would not wish to speak for her. I would certainly welcome Shinjo-sans company."

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo nods at the Seppun's words. "She is well trained, to be sure. She would not be here otherwise. And Noburu is surprisingly gentle when she wishes to be."

Kogo sees the Shinjo enter and rises, a smile lighting up her face. "Shinjo-san! I would be glad to have you join us. Do you know Seppum-sama and Moshi-san?"

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji was out walking. Thinking. He had made mistakes today. He did not remember some of them, and he was still suffering from a major earlier one.
He noticed the fire near the yurts, and decided to stop by. He was a bit startled as he noticed Kogo and the others around it already. He bowed and said "Good evening" to everyone around the fire.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo smiled. Perhaps this will work after all. "Good evening Hiroji-sama. How are you this evening?"

[Kaiu Hiroji]

He shrugged sadly as he sat. "Much the same as this morning I am afraid. Somewhat better though."

[Shinjo Taichi]

He performs another half-bow for the Imperial for good measure. "A pleasure to meet you, Seppun-sama." Turning his gaze to the small Moshi "Although I have not had the honour of meeting you yet, I can assure you the pleasure is all mine, Moshi-san."

About to take his place just as Crab arrives, he rises and bows to the Kaiu before sitting. "Good to see you again, Kaiu-san."

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji nodded to Taichi. "It is good to see you too Taichi-san. How has the miai treated you since we last spoke?"

[Shinjo Taichi]

"Not too bad Kaiu-san, although the events are perhaps not suited to my skills. Still, I managed to do well enough yesterday. You?"

"Ah!" He paused for a moment, rummaging around for a bit before producing a number of bottles of sake, and one of shochu. "Consider these my contribution to your gathering, Matsu-san." He then proceeded to offer drinks to any who wanted them, displaying the generosity and courtesy one would expect of a true Unicorn.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

He frowns. "I could be better Taichi-san. Today's... Performance took much out of me."
He looks at the cup Taichi is offering him and contemplates for a moment. "I, um... Thank you Taichi-san. But I would rather go without drinking more tonight." He declined politely.

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo smiles at him. "Thank you for your generosity Shinjo-san. I will have a small glass of sake." One must be a good host.
She proffers a cup.

[Kaiu Hiroji]

Hiroji nods to Kogo. "I observed your performance at the challenge today Kogo-san. It was good."

[Matsu Kogo]

Kogo blushes at the ears but it is covered by her hair at this time. "Thank you Hiroji-sama. I doubt I would have gotten up there without your assistance earlier in the day. I had planned to sit out."

[Kaiu Hiroji]

He smiles. "Glad to hear it Kogo-san."
