(D6 LA) A Late Lesson

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue helped him to his feet and then retracted it. She saw no need in more touching. "I do not think you will forget it after that fall, Daisuke-dono," she said with a smile.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Hard lessons are the best lessons Shinjo-san." He said in way of agreement. "Well as long as you don't hit your head too much that is."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"If you need someone to look at your head, I can look at it. Soshi Taira-dono may also be able to help." She walked over to Hikazume and brought the horse back over. "Are you ready to try again?"

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"I'll be fine." He so said brushing himself off. "As long as my arm isn't pointing in a weird direction I'm generally fine. Us scouts are tougher then we look.:

Looking at the horse he nodded. "I'll give it another go."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue held out the reins and smiled. "I was sure you were alright. If you were not, I would not have offered to help you to your feet." She gave him a small smile. "Small lean, Daisuke-dono," she reminded him.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Small leans." He agreed with a nod, taking the reins he mounted Hikazume again. Settling into place before setting off again. "To the right this time." He muttered mostly to himself, slightly leaning in the saddle so the horse would take a gradual.turn.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Hikazume took the motion and shifted herself to the right. "Good, Daisuke-dono. I recommend that you make sure your foots remain in the stirrups," she said as another reminder. She stayed nearby, hoping to catch him if he somehow managed to topple off the horse again.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

Stirrups, check.

Turning, check.

Circles, check.

Daisuke didn't seem like we was going to fall as he rode Hikazume in a steady trot around Liu Yue, mastering, or well, getting used to turning led him into making circles as he kept steadily turning to the right, he may as well get used to the sensation after all.

"I think I've got a bit better understand of it now."He mused aloud.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"Hai!" She let out a small chuckle. "You do not need to learn how to ride in a straight line after the competition." Yue stood there with a grin on her face as she looked at both her enduring steed and yet another man learning to ride a horse.

And then, for only a brief moment, her On faltered. Oh goodness, this better not be a repeat of this morning.

She swallowed. "Any questions?" she inquired with her same, usual, gentle tone.

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"No." He shifted slightly in the other direction, going just one way had started to make him a bit dizzy. "Or well." He trailed off.

"Can horses be trained to walk quietly?"

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue nodded. "The scouts of my Family are able to scout effectively without being caught. However, I cannot say that I know their techniques." She gave him a bow. "Gomennasai. I know why such knowledge would be useful to you."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Well, it's nothing to truly worry about." He was staring to get slightly more comfortable on the horse. "I'll only need to worry about it should I marry into your clan."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"I imagine you would do well as a Shinjo Scout," Yue concluded on that subject. She smiled and stepped back to allow the two of them to have more space to ride. "You are doing well, Daisuke-dono. It would be a shame for you to not have a horse to ride in the future."

[Ichiro Daisuke]

"Perhaps. I think I'd need much more practice on a horse to qualify though."

"I'd like more chances to ride." He admitted. "I feel quite tall up here."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"I should have time for the rest of our time here, Daisuke-dono." A few days ago Yue may have added a little hint that they might be wed in the future. However, she was now beyond such jokes.
