[D7 EM] Close Combat

[Moto Baatar]

"Ohayo," she replied to Baatar and turned her attention back to her partner.

"That sounds like it could be useful," she nodded, "sure. I can be quick like a rabbit." At least she had been faster than her Matsu opponent last time.

From where he was practicing, Baatar watched Tomoe with some curiosity. He recalled what the Hare had said about her combat training; or lack of it, in this case.

But, having had a teeny amount of courtesy inculcated into him in recent days, the young Moto refrained from commenting. Yet.

[Usagi Tomoe]

"That should serve you then." he noted, smiling. "Are you done with your warm-up?" Dong-Ha rolled his shoulders, figuring she'd be pulling his arms before the morning was over.

She gave a nod. "I'm ready." The Hare took a few steps out on the floor.

((Can roll in 2 hours when I get home, or we'll do it tomorrow when you're awake))

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"So, come here and grab my arms as if you were wrestling me." Dong-Ha explained as he walked to face the smaller Hare. "Now, this won't work quite as well for me as you are the smaller person, but you should to get the idea." he took his stance and waited for her to initiate contact.

[Soshi Yuuru]

Soshi Yuuru slipped into the Dojo in the morning for a bit of exercise since the fields were still pretty muddy. Seeing an interesting fight beginning between the Bunny and the Unicorn he smirked and leaned up against a wall out of Tomoe's line of sight to watch without disturbing their practice.

[Usagi Tomoe]

"So, come here and grab my arms as if you were wrestling me." Dong-Ha explained as he walked to face the smaller Hare. "Now, this won't work quite as well for me as you are the smaller person, but you should to get the idea." he took his stance and waited for her to initiate contact.

Unaware of Yuuru watching her, Tomoe nodded and proceeded to grab onto Dong-Ha's arms as Nintoku had shown her. She knew better than to go for a hold that relied on sheer strength, as she wasn't as strong as a trained warrior, but instead she tried to go more for the weakness of the joints.

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"So, this is not going to work nearly as well as I am the taller person..." Dong-Ha explained, slipping his elbows inwards and rushed to grasp a hold over Tomoe's waist as he pressed himself against her. "No here, you try to control their hips." he tightened his hold.

"And then you step to the side and use the leg closer to your opponent to sweep them off their legs while you twist them in the opposite direction." He took the step, pressing Tomoe downwards as he softly kicked his leg against hers. However, instead of following with the take down he kept his old on the small Hare, leaving her danging in his arms. "Something like this." He pulled her back up with a grin.

"Again?"

Yuuru smirk grew with each passing move of the Unicorn.

Smooth man. I like this guy.

[Usagi Tomoe]

Her face turned slightly red as Dong-Ha went through the moves and ended up holding her helpless in his arms. Of course, it must be from the physical excersise! No other reason!

"Ah... I think I got it..."

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"Very well. Your turn then." She let go of her arms and assumed the position of the aggressor, moving to grasp her upper arms, pressing them inwards as if to limit her movements.

[Usagi Tomoe]

Tomoe reminded herself to respect her opponent enough to give it her all, and her arms slipped to Dong-Ha's waist as he had done to her. She seemed to be a quick learner, as she easily determined at which point she would use his weight against him as her leg pushed against his to sweep him off his feet.

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

While he did he best to stay on top of the situation, the small Hare proved to be a quick learner as Dong-Ha went down with a resounding thud. "Ouch..." the young Iuchi gasped from the ground, looking up to Tomoe. "Just like that."

[Soshi Yuuru]

Yuuru moved his hand up to cover his mouth as he chuckled a bit.

Looks like she's getting into it.

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Oops... did I surprise you?" she asked, barely able to keep herself from grinning from having succeeded against someone more experienced than her.

Tomoe extended her arms to the fallen Unicorn at least. "Here, let me help you up."

[Iuchi Dong-Ha]

"No, you did well." he replied reaching for her hand as he stood up. "You are quick on your feet, as you said." Dong-Ha noted with a smile as he reluctantly let go of her hand. "I should've been more careful."

"How about a proper bout, then?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

"What can I say, I have good teachers?" she gave him a small wink.

"Ah... in the rules of the Unicorn then? Three take-downs determines the winner?"
