"They do sometimes, yes," he nodded, "As far how easily trained they are, well, I have never tried to train one so I don't rightly know. Like most animals, it's probably much easier if you start when the sheep is a babe."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She looked mischievous.

"So what you're saying is... I should try to smuggle a little one."

[Shinjo Akil]

"I am giving you no advice," he answered with a smirk.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"...Of course. Of course. Do sheep travel well? I intend to travel, after the miai." She nodded muchly, and looked out into the pasture.

[Shinjo Akil]

"Well enough that we could generally bring them with us," he nodded, "they won't keep up with a proper horse, mind you."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"So I'd need a cart to bring my sheep with me? That puts a kink in plans. I intend to scale the mountains in the Dragon lands."
A pause, considering.
"Do sheep swim?"

[Shinjo Akil]

"Probably?" He looked at the sheep curiously, "I cannot imagine well, especially if they have not been sheared, but I imagine they at least have the capacity for it."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She smiled a little sadly. "I intend to see the ocean."

Then she looked at the Unicorn. "What are you plans after you leave the miai with your betrothed?"

[Shinjo Akil]

"Handle the business of being married, see her home," he nodded, "likely seek enrollment into the Kakita Artisan Academy. Everything i have heard make it sound as if it will be a good fit for me."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

She blinked at the certainty of his statements, and the callout of the Crane house in particular, and tilted her head to look at him further.

"Is that right? You're prepared to give up your clan for her?"

[Shinjo Akil]

"She is the one who will be choosing, not me," he answered simply, "I am prepared to do my duty."

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"But you're certain she will choose you? I envy you that, Shinjo-san."

Tsukimi looked back to the sheep pen.

[Shinjo Akil]

He smirked. "She did just sing a love ballad about me in front of everyone," and then his face reddened and he stared out the ground. She just sang a love ballad about me in front of everyone. Damn.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

Puzzle pieces slid into place and the performance from earlier reared in Tsukimi's mind.

"You're a lucky man to have her affection, she was exquisite as I recall, Shinjo-san."

[Shinjo Akil]

He nodded at her words. "Hopefully I prove in any sense worthy of that affection."
