[Miya Mei]

"That is good to hear."

Mei gives a flirtatious smile.

"So what do you think is the strangest thing you have seen since your arrival back home to the Empire?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"The consumption of sea bugs." he replied. "They were deceptively good, but I'll be happy to never see one again."

[Miya Mei]

"Sea bugs? Im not...OH, you mean shrimp. I never thought of them described as such. "

Mei giggles a lite but holds it back.

"Well, I will make sure I pass along to all I meet that the Unicorn would prefer other food. I am sure that will be easy enough to accomodate. There are plenty of fish in the seas after all"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Some of my cousins may be fine with it. But, shellfish definitely did not agree with me." His hand reflexively went to his stomach.

[Miya Mei]

"Well, Hopefully other...delecacies...of the Empire do not turn your stomach sour"

Mei's voice is sultry and sweet, an air of heavy flirtation present.

"What do you say to a little race, Shinjo-san? The winner being owed a...favor...from the looser?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He grinned. "I would like that. The length of the field?"

[Miya Mei]

"Absolutely. The first to cross the end of the field, or shall we go down and back?"

Mei pulls back on the reins a bit to stop Ti-Lu

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Just to the end. I would not wish to stress Ti-Lu's leg too much." he suggested.

[Miya Mei]

"Thank you for the consideration. On the count of three then?"

She has Ti-Lu walk to the starting point and waits for Kemuri

[Shinjo Kemuri]

He nodded.

"Ichi... Ni... San!"

He spurred Sarangerel into motion, but they had a slow start.

[Miya Mei]

At the count, Mei cracks her reins onto Ti-Lu's back.

"Go! Go go go! Run like the wind!"

Ti-Lu huffs and takes off, his gate favoring one side of his body. For a few moments, he was neck and neck with the other horse before slowly pulling ahead.

When the two cross the designated finish, Mei throws up her hands in a cheer

Kemuri cheered as well, patting Sarangerel along the neck. It was not their best performance, but it was a good race.

"Well done, Miya-sama." he offered a bow and a smile. "It was a good race. I am at your disposal."

[Miya Mei]

Mei turns Ti-Lu around and rides close to Kemuri

"I was worried after his performance during the Otaku's event, but he seems to be feeling a bit better."

She leans in a little

"Hmm. What favor should I ask..."

Mei leans even closer

"Would a kiss be deemed to scandelous?"

[Shinjo Kemuri]

"Perhaps, but not unreasonable." he smiled. "We are alone out here and you do have that fan of yours."

[Miya Mei]

Mei smirks and produces her fan, holding it to block the view of their faces from the village.

"Scandals are always more fun anyway"
