Day 6 [Late Evening] My Pony

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Gokiburi made a light sound but otherwise just looked at the two. Content to let the humans have their moment, as Fei seemed to want one. Knowing it from the moment Fei started to prepare herself to start saying something.

"Suteichi.." she spoke his name softly, bringing attention to the nature of the matter. "Do you know anyone good at spreading rumors?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Hai." He responded looking over his shoulder at her. "Myself and my Sempai. Are you concerned about the rumors that were spoken?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"What is done is done," she said, evading that particular question. "However, they gave me an idea," she said, bringing her voice to a whisper as she concealed her obvious subtlety by tending to Gokiburi.

"What if we were to use rumors to bolster your eligibility? It should give you more sway in the coming talks and decisions."

And then you could be mine.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi chuckled. It was almost rather sinister in how he chuckled.

The lady of my intended has suggested something devious...Oh I have chose wisely!

Suteichi turned to face her and the look he had on his face was hard to discern but what was certain was that he was happy.

"My dear Liu Fei, you suggest something that is more or less well... great minds do think alike. Bolstering my eligibility? Hmmm...I do not want any of these others to have me or even have the inkling of the idea that they can have me. I am yours. Like a bridge over water so will others have to just get over it."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"They do not need to think that they can have you, they just need to want to," she said, glancing to him and flashing a light smirk. Rather enjoying the way he looked at her.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"You are asking me to give word embellishing my availability while all the time you and I are an item?! That's just cruel..." He leaned to her ear, just brushing past her cheek and whispered in it.

"Keep plotting like that and Gokiburi will see some things he wished he never would have." he playfully teased.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei's cheeks nearly flushed at the suggestion, almost as much as having him close gave her but a moments pause. "Careful Suteichi," she chided lightly. "You would not wish to be so bold and ruin our chances."

"Though," she said, leaning away despite how badly she wanted to remain close. "I did say eligibility, not availability. I want them to know how much of a catch you are so that when you may choose, they look at me with jealousy."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Alright. I will trust your lead on this. Consider it done."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei actually smiled enough to show her teeth a little. "Alright, we have a plan... although I am not sure how I can aid it directly. If you know anyone I can approach on your behalf you will let me know? It may be suspicious if you started making any such rounds."

Unshakable as she was, she wasn't impenetrable. Rumors of their encounter had certainly shaken her faith in privacy.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Leave the subtleties to me. You need not get yourself involved with that. If anything, live up to the fact that you are my most chosen. That is a truth. The truth is, you are spoken for. You already knew this though." he said with a grin.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I can do this, if it were not so public I might have kissed you," she admitted, the tease evident.

"Alright. Tomorrow I may teach you to ride, if you have the time to spare for me that is Suteichi-san," she said, resuming a normal volume with a light smile on her lips.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Interesting... We again share the same thought. Why are you in my head?" he jested. The he too spoke normally.

"I have time available. When are you available for the lessons?"

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

To the suggestion she was in his head she had merely smiled and flashed a grin.

"I will have to wait till we learn of when tomorrows displays will be, but some time toward the middle of the day?"

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Fair. After you give lessons, it would be appropriate that I honor my sensei with a meal. Dinner." he was not asking. The invitation was more or less a direct implication that was followed by a playful smile.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Rumors made her hesitate for just a second, but if she was going to be frightened of anything she wasn't going to let it be gab. "That sounds agreeable, Suteichi-san," she betrayed her inner delight by letting a smile slip past her defenses.
