[Day 2 - Early Evening] Better Luck Next Time

[Bayushi Hotaru]

She gave Kyra a small pat before she looked to Ryori with her full attention.

"That would be the best outcome, ne? At the same time, there will be some evitable sacrifice from one side when it comes to marriage, sometimes even both sides. Do you think it's possible that they will ask you to tend to horses instead of cats? I don't know what the Unicorn would ask me, seeing as they have a great lack of temples and shrines in their provinces to tend to, save for the ones that have been relinquished by your Clan. Their spiritual customs are different too. That would be quite a change for me," she shrugged on that note. It was preferable, but how things went when it came to marriage.

[Shimizu Ryori]

"If they ask myself and Kyra to guard the stables or tend the horses, we will consider that a honor, if they try to seperate us, " he pauses "I do not know what action I would take that day but I hope honor and duty will find a way to reconcile"

[Bayushi Hotaru]

"Hopefully!" She nodded eagerly in agreement as she looked to Kyra once more. "It seems she's very comfortable around you." That said, this was admittedly the first time she met a Lion beastmaster.

"Well, if you're ever curious about what may be in store for you...I will extend the same offer to you as I did with Matsu-san. I'm a diviner by skill and I'm able to read the fortunes of others. I've read Matsu-san's not too long ago, but it will ultimately be up to her whether or not she wishes to diverge her fate with you," she smirked coyly.

[Shimizu Ryori]

"Is not discovering out futures what we are here for? I am more then willing to accept any guidance offered"

[Bayushi Hotaru]

"Hai, we will be discovering our futures, whether or not we wish to. However, it does benefit us to have both guidance and direction of things to come."

She gave a gesture to the tatami she had laid out at the entrance of her yurt. "If you have a moment and wish to have this done now, I can consult the oracle on your behalf."

[Shimizu Ryori]

He settles down where she indicates "hai as long as Kyra stats put"

[Bayushi Hotaru]

Hotaru smiled warmly when he took her up on her offer and made her way over to join him, sitting just across with a fair amount of space in between. She took out the sticks from its container and fiddled around, seemingly like separating them in two handfuls of no particular amount.

"Is there a question you had in mind, or did you just wish to know what the Fortunes wish to provide to you in terms of a direction? Shimizu-san strikes me as someone who already knows which direction he wishes to go in this cycle. You merely are looking for the specifics, perhaps?"

[Shimizu Ryori]

"I am going in whatever direction duty takes me, maybe you can give me some insight on whats inbstore?"

[Bayushi Hotaru]

"Very well, Shimizu-san," she said with a small smile on her lips.

With that in mind, she kept her eyes downcast and fiddled around with her divinations sticks. She laid them down into two piles with one stick in between to connect both of them together. Her eyes were downcast as she concentrated on her craft, speaking cryptically. "In order to know what's in store for you, we must consider peeking into both the Heavens and the Realm of Mortals. We are eternally part of both, as members of the Celestial Order. Our membership to both gives us great power, but an equal burden as well. We are understandably swayed by the will of the Fortunes and the Kami, even the kami that we find all around us. Our actions can cause burden too, delivering results that were beyond our control but we must claim full responsibility for...between all of this, we will find the truth in what lies in your future..."

She reached over and took one collection of sticks in her hands, sussing out four sticks at a time until she finds a reminder in the pile. This process took a bit, though it seems she is able to find her result. It seemed like a simple one.

"Hm...what the oracle tells me is that there's seems to be a spot in your life that seems to need correcting, or cutting out, before true progress is made. This is something you must settle or it could ultimately hold you back from anything else. Worst still, you might find some false success...while the foundation decays from the bottom and you could lose everything. This will need to be addressed sooner than later, if you wish to proceed," she said solemnly.

[Shimizu Ryori]

"Any insight as to what that spot might be?"

[Bayushi Hotaru]

Hotaru began to pack away her divination sticks back into the container she stored them in and gave a small shake of her head. "Unfortunately, that's something I can't see the specifics. In this case, it's not something in the future but something that has already happened that will be bogging your down from progress. I know that we're all here to fulfil our traditional duties but I recommend that you address that issue in whatever way you can."

She looked to Ryori with a rather intent look in her eyes, quite serious. "I would be careful! Just because you assuage it enough to be out of your mind doesn't mean that it has been addressed with. This is potentially a very real threat to your personal growth or progress."

[Shimizu Ryori]

"Yet without knowledge of what it is, how would I address it?

[Bayushi Hotaru]

"In that case, perhaps such a fault isn't so obvious or even preventable in the future. Ultimately, the oracle asked that you stay vigilant and consider each of your actions before proceeding forward. It may dawn to you in time. I just hope that you don't find out too late," she said solemnly.
