Day 5 [EM] Doctor Who?! What?! (Suteichi's Yurt)

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi sat next to her. He was not trying to be comforting or soften the news. She was a bushi and respected that. Sugar-coating it would only just be insulting to her.

"People are already discussing the incident in the Western Fields, about a giant sea serpent. An Otaku was slain in the battle and apparently there was someone there at the incident matching the description of your sister."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Fei accepted the news with a calm, stoic demeanor. Refusing to let it shift her.

"The Otaku woman was the only death then? What of the others, the one matching my sisters description, did they say anything else?" she asked coolly.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"That is what I heard. Nothing much more beyond that." He was about to ask her to help her search for her but he figured this would be something she would want to handle on her own.

"I'm sure you will want to see if she is back at your Yurt."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I do," she said only few words to maintain the calm. Given her sisters already... given her condition she worried more than she used to.

"I am going to go now, I will see you later?" she asked, rising to her feet.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Absolutely. I can come to your yurt later or you can come here..." he said standing with her. He ultimately did not care where they met as long as he was with her.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

"I will find you," she said, bowing quickly as she moved toward the exit. However, just before she left she turned about and took a few fast steps toward him and locked him into a quick kiss.

Looking to his eyes so he understood the meaning, "Thank you."

With that there was little more to say and she left promptly.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

He hated to see her go but loved to watch her leave.
I have learned well from you Bayushi Sasuke-sama...I need to get ready for the day!

Suteichi began to prepare for the day, longing to see Liu Fei at the end of it.
