Yuuru smiled, "We'll see each other again. But I doubt you to be the type to take a private lover after you are wed... I'll continue to respect you and admire you, but I doubt romance would be in the future."

He then leaned in close, "But if it is to be gone forever... perhaps you'll allow me at least one proper kiss to send it off."

[Usagi Tomoe]

She hadn't even thought about taking on a lover, mostly because she had hoped she'd find someone she could like and respect enough to not consider it. But if someone she didn't want picked her to be their bride, well... the consideration was more likely then. "I don't think you'd do that to your wife either..."

"... One kiss can't hurt, but I don't want to say it will be never in the future, knowing that the future is still very uncertain..." Tomoe leaned in too.

Yuuru smiled and closed his eyes. When their lips met a stream of energy course through his body. He'd imagined from time to time romance with Tomoe, but now was the moment that came true... even if for only a short moment. He was more than satisfied, in fact he was quite pleased through and through.

He opened his eyes after a few moments as their lips parted and smirked handsomely. "Yeah... I won't swear this off yet either."

When their lips met, she for a moment entertained the thought of just running away with him instead, leaving this stupid miai and its stupid Unicorn samurai behind. But... Tomoe loved her clan. She had worked so hard for the recognition of her peers, and she didn't want to lose it - and earn their hatred for failing in what she had sworn to do. Abandon her honor and duty.

No, that's what foolish ronin did. And Yuuru was Scorpion, so he too understood the importance of Loyalty to the clan.

She shyly licked her lips as they parted, smiling with a blush. "You just took my first kiss, so you better be happy," she muttered with a shy tone.

He smiled and put his hand on her chin to pull it up to face him. He looked deeply into her eyes and nodded, "I couldn't be happier. You've made my day Bunny. Heck... you've made my year."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"Geez, I certainly hope your year will be more exciting than a kiss," she chuckled warmly as she looked back at him, before averting her eyes as her mind wandered to other things. Other things than just kissing. "Because... I mean... well... maybe we could... meet again?"

He smiled, "Anytime my dear. Perhaps in a place a bit more private than an open field though, neh?"

[Usagi Tomoe]

She nodded, her blush beginning to subside a little.

"Not that I planned exactly on this happening here, you know... finding you here was a surprise. A pleasant one, but a surprise nonetheless."

He smiled, "Maybe I'm not all bad luck after all. Maybe you see why I'm willing to take a few chances now and again... because when it pays off... It's really nice."

He smiled handsomely and kissed her again tenderly.

"!" his second kiss came as a surprise. Though she probably should've seen it coming as he talked about taking chances.

"Y... you stole that one, monkey!" she pulled away after a little while. "You should be careful about taking too many chances like that, you know... I mean, someone could see..."

He smiled, "For your sake I'll stop."

He then tilted his head mischievously, "For now..."

[Usagi Tomoe]

"You really are impossible!" she chided with a smile and got back up on her feet. "Should know better around a monkey..."

"Ooh ooh, eek eek." He said with a chuckle.

Tomoe supressed a chuckle, and it sounded more like a snort instead.

"Bad monkey."

Composing herself again, she looked at Yuuru. "... I should let you continue with the work you were doing, neh?"

He smiled, "You don't need to go if you don't want to. I'd enjoy the company... got something to read or something?"
