Yue stared at the book and then let out a sigh. "Hey sis! Help me translate this, will ya? You're better at Rokugani!" She looked back at Yukarin sheepishly. "Gomennasai. Mekhem is more familiar to me."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin tilted her head and gave a short nod, adjusting her grip on the parchment sheets she still had held against herself.

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Drying out her hair again she let it hang loosely for now, turning to hearing her name called. Responding in Mekhem, "You know the language little sister, you don't need my help. But, since you want it."

Rising, Liu Fei walked over toward the two and then properly offered Yukarin a quick bow. "Iuichi-san," she offered in quick greeting before looking to her sister and the text. "What do we have here little sister?"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin bowed low to the other Shinjo, squeaking as some parchment leafs slipped out of her arms onto the floor. She immediately squatted down to start picking them up.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"It is the Tao," she remarked. "Yukarin-dono wants an accurate translation. I do not I believe I could transcribe the correct structure of each verse. That is why I called you, oneesan."

[Iuchi Yukarin]

"Well, not THE Tao; Not Shinei's that is. This is the Tao of..."

Suddenly she froze a moment and stood up, papers dropping back to the floor as she smacked her own forehead, "OF COURSE! That is what I was forgetting the whole time; Mekhem is the name those in the Sands gave Shinsei. They named their whole f=*#ing language after him."

Yukarin was back to pacing, "But... they had the book when the Ki-Rin first reached the Jewel. Which means the 'Tao of Shinsei' had already been translated into the 'Tao of Mekhem' before Rokugani ever reached the city..."

[Shinjo Liu Fei]

Watching this woman she knew her father would of scolded her without end for how often she dropped her research material, or whatever those papers were. Just choosing to watch the woman for a long moment before casually looking back to Yue and then back to the woman.

"Happy to help?" she said with a shrug, seemingly having had to do nothing.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

Yue scratched the back of her head as she listened to Yukarin go on about Shinsei and Mekhem. "I do not know history well, Yukarin-dono," she admitted. She motioned for Fei to open the book already and then smiled at the Iuchi. "Do you expect the translation of this book to match the Tao of Shinsei?"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

"I have no idea!"

The way that was said with a beaming smile more than told of the Iuchi woman's excitement, "It depends on so many factors like where they got the information and where they got their understanding of Rokugani from. Not to mention if Shinsei himself was involved somehow..."

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"Sou desu ka." Yue meandered about the yurt with the kumi bowl back in her hand. She took a sip and decided to steer the direction towards a topic she somewhat understood. "How has the miai treated you, Yukarin-dono?"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Deciding to calm down as well Yukarin took a breath before regathering the blank pages, "Mostly well, apart from getting sick the first day; I have met some charming interesting men and learned a good bit as well."

She put the parchment pack into her pack as she finished talking.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

One part of her response stood out above the others. "Who did you meet, Yukarin-dono?" she asked with a curious tone. She coughed into her hand and put on a smile. "It would be prudent for us to collaborate on finding suitors!"

[Iuchi Yukarin]

Yukarin closed her bag and looked directly at Liu Yue, "You mean like... all of them? There have been more than a few..."

She took up the kumis at this point that had been prepared for her, raking a sip.

[Shinjo Liu Yue]

"All of them." Yue shrugged. "It may be easier to speak only on the most prominent ones, Yukarin-dono." She smiled when the Iuchi took a bowl as offered. "I have been spoken much with Soshi Taira-dono, Asako Hirase-san, and Yogo Yuichi-dono." She took another sip from her bowl. "I promised to teach a few more men how to ride a horse."

Her lips took on a crooked smirk. "And my sister has been consorting with Bayushi Suteichi-dono."
