[D4 LE] A Visitor (Hideo's Yurt) [Closed]

The story was as long as a Sparrow tale; however this tale was far more interesting than anything a Sparrow could tell. It was almost at the end though - or was it? The tale had him gripped, and he was almost holding his breath in anticipation of the next part.

[Ide Amaya]

She moved now to the other arm.

Mist rose and surrounded her. Soon it was so thick that Min could not see one step in front of her. And a voice called through the mist, "clap your hands, but gently, so that you do not tear the clouds."

Min obeyed and, with every clap, a cloud rose and drifted from the tower. Now she could hear the rushing of water and when Min left the tower, it started to rain. "You have saved me," said Rain Woman, "had you not come, I would have been taken deep into the heart of the earth, and I do so love living in the light. Now you must hurry back before the waters take over. Do you see that canoe on the lake? Quickly now, row straight down the lake until it joins a river. Follow the river and you will reach home."

And she gave Min a golden ring set with a beautiful pale blue stone as a memento. Then she disappeared into the tower. Min called for Jiahao, who came running, wet and tired. They climbed aboard the canoe which glided gently downstream without their help. Skillfully, Jiahao and Min guided the canoe as it skimmed along in the now fast-moving stream.

It was going towards a wet but happy ending. Hideo felt rather wet himself from all the washing, but he didn't mind. He listened to the story, waiting for the ending.

[Ide Amaya]

She applied the balm.

After what seemed like many hours indeed, the stream took them to their village, and Jiahao's mother and Min's father were waiting there. Jiahao guided the canoe to the shore and cried out, "mother, mother! Min woke the Rain Woman. Now our meadows will grow rich grass and we shall no longer be poor."

Min's father walked over the the young man as he got out of the canoe, and he put a hand on Jiahao's shoulder. "I am a man of my word, and you shall marry my daughter."

There was great celebrating for the marriage and the return of the rain, and Jiahao and Min were very happy. But always they remembered the verse they had learnt, in case Rain Woman fell asleep once more and Fire Man ran wild across the land.

As the tale ended, she came to finish her ministrations to Hideo's back.

Hideo rarely showed more than a nod of appreciation for a good story. This time? He gave a small clap. "Forgive me for my movement Amaya-chan, but that was a quite incredible story!" he looked over his shoulder at Amaya

[Ide Amaya]

"I am done here," she said, shyly, "I need you to turn around?"

[Seppun Hideo]

"Hai" Hideo nodded, rising up. The kimono was only just handing on at his waist, sliding down very slightly but not enough to reveal anything more than she was already seeing. It would take more of a hold for it to fall down as he turned round to face her and sit.

[Ide Amaya]

Her eyes travelled down the length of his chest, and it wasn't the nasty wounds she was seeing. Swallowing, she lifted her eyes to his, hardly daring to breath.

[Seppun Hideo]

Hideo held her eyes with his as she met them. Not sure what was wrong this time. The wounds at the front were not as bad as the back after all.

"Amaya-chan?" he said quietly.

[Ide Amaya]

She reached for a clean silk scrap and dampened it. "Is everything all right?"

[Seppun Hideo]

He blinked. Was he misreading things again?

"I'm quite alright Amaya-chan" he insisted with a nod and a smile after a moment "you are doing a fantastic job."

[Ide Amaya]

"I'm glad," she smiled.

She had to lean forward to bathe the wounds on the Imperial's chest. The activity of tending to him had allowed the over-sized Imperial kimono to work just a little loose, and a narrow v of decolletage was visible, but she hadn't noticed.

[Seppun Hideo]

Hideo, however, had. He did his best to not look down into the display, but he couldn't help but peek. Which in turn made his mind wander a little, and he had to quickly try to get his mind off the view.

For his chest, the wounds were not too numerous. He had clearly held the basket of eggs to his chest. To the sides however, there were deeper scars, especially around the parts of the body that had caught Amaya's attention previously; obviously where the weasels had dug into the skin to hold on while they tried to get at the basket. They looked painful.

She worked her way down his firm stomach and then across one flank. Even if her breathing couldn't be heard over the rain, certainly the rise and fall of her small bosom would be obvious if he cared to look. But she didn't notice that either. Swords?" the thought rose unbidden in her mind and she blushed, signs? how do the others just know? She was embarrassed, both by the way she was feeling and by her lack of understanding of it; she tried to focus on her ministering, she wasn't succeeding.

And while Amaya was trying not to think of swords and failing, Hideo was failing to not notice Amaya's body. His eyes were drawn back to the bosom, and the gap that was opening up at the top of the loose kimono. He couldn't help it anymore, even if it was only the corner of his eye it was in his line of sight, and he felt hot as his body was reacting to the moment.
