Day 3 [EM] No Masks (Mizuki's Room: Private)

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Very well. I will tell Liu Fei about my real lineage. I will do it after the music event tomorrow. It will not be easy. I respect her a great deal." Suteichi picked up another piece of bacon to eat. His eyes did not meet Mizuki's.

"She has so much resilience... It's like being with...well..." his eyes finally met Mizuki's and he went silent. She would catch on to what he was saying.

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki takes a sudden interest in her food even while she has trouble keeping it down. "I'm... I'm glad she is pleasing you. I hope it goes well." She looks back at Suteichi in the eyes. "And if it doesn't, I'll be hear for you."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi sipped more tea, his eyes still on his sempai. "You always have been as I have always been there for you."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki simply smiled and took a sip of tea hoping it will settle her stomach. Thank you, Suteichi-kun. Thank you for be the one constant in my life.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"Yogo-sempai... Mizuki-chan, I really mean this...I want you and I to...be successful at this miai and that we both will be happy with the choices made."

[Yogo Mizuki]

"Of course. You do not need to s-" Mizuki quickly moves to a pot to empty her stomach contents.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi calmly moved to her side of the table. He removed her breakfast plate and checked on her.

"Yogo-sempai," he placed a hand on the small of her back, "Are you alright? This damned gaijin food is not good for any of us. I can have a servant bring some rice or miso soup."

[Yogo Mizuki]

"Thank you, Sutiechi-kun. Some miso soup sounds lovely. I am sure I will be all alright shortly."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi immediately got a servant to go get her bowl of miso soup. He came back and poured her a cup of water and served it to her. He sat close to her side and offered her the cup. He took a cloth and wiped her mouth.

"Why is it that the only time I am close to you is when you are hurt?" he whispered. A knock at the door signaled that the servant had returned. He got the bowl of soup and brought it to her.

"Is there anything else I can do for you Yogo-sempai?"

[Yogo Mizuki]

"You've done enough, Suteichi-kun." And he had. "I am feeling a little better. Honestly, I am more concerned for you. I will probably not be marrying into the Unicorn. You might have learn eat this food on a regular basis."

Mizuki was disappointed. The bacon was delicious.

[Bayushi Suteichi]

"That is just something else I will have to learn to overcome in my life Yogo-sempai." Suteichi sipped some tea and thought back on what he said to her.

"Yogo-sempai, I meant no disrespect by what I whispered to you. I... I...its just..."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki cuts him off. "No. Don't say..." She takes a deep breath. "You don't need to say anything." Please don't. She looks at Sutiechi with eyes full of worry and fear before taking an extreme interest in the soup.

"Thank you for getting the soup."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

Suteichi relaxed his shoulders and exhaled.

"Of course, Yogo-sempai. Has this food been disagreeing with you much?"

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki shakes her head. "I thought I was getting used to it after Soshi-san's medicine. Maybe I just need to wait until my body has had a chance to wake up."

[Bayushi Suteichi]

There was still concern in his eyes for her. Suteichi was bothered by that as well. He has always been a stickler for not displaying his emotions or rather getting emotionally involved. Mizuki was always close to him and he was always close to her. The two shared much together and he honestly despised seeing her or knowing that she was in a hurt state.

"I can let you rest or if you like I will stay a little longer with you. If need be."
