[Matsu Yurio]

Oooh... I know what that look is. Insanity.

Slowly, Yuzuki began to realize she had made a terrible mistake. It was time to start developing an exit strategy.

"Uh, well I'm usually asleep when he is too, so I don't know about that... uh. He usually sleeps down by my feet I guess?"

"Ah I love it when Neko does that. So nice knowing your gorgeous lil neko is so close and keeping you warm. Of course he has no place with me when the army is deployed and he stays back at the castle but I do worry about him when I leave him alone. Like right now. He wandered out of the tent earlier today and I don't know where he is. He'll come back, he always does, but that could easily have been him going through the table. Except he'd have stopped and eaten all the sashimi. He does have a thing for raw fish."

[Kitsune Kumahime]

After the sudden cat attack, Kumahime finds herself going in and out of the tent, removing kitten-defiled food, and bringing back what she can manage to replace, spending more time tending the dinner than socializing, let alone eating, but that is always the peril of playing host. And in her multiple passes, she notices the cat-lover Lion harassing Yuzuki.

Oh dear. Well, only one way to deal with this.

She grabs a cup and pours some sake, then approaches the pair, "Might Matsu-sama care for a drink?" Sake. Cause of and solution to so many of life's problems.

[Yuzuki]

Oh thank the heavens, the bearcavalry was here.

"Ah, have you met Kitsune Kumahime-san yet, Matsu-sama?"

[Matsu Yurio]

Cut off in mid Kitteh flow, Yurio looked wide eyed at the Fox for a moment before remembering the world outside cats.

He bowed, rather sheepishly.

"Thank you, Kitsune-san. I am Matsu Yurio."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"I can't imagine. Not really. In addition to not being a priest myself, I've never even heard of anything like this before. There is just so much to learn about everything. I'm probably going to spend my entire life figuring out and learning new things. Which is an exciting prospect."

[Kitsune Kumahime]

Cut off in mid Kitteh flow, Yurio looked wide eyed at the Fox for a moment before remembering the world outside cats.

He bowed, rather sheepishly.

"Thank you, Kitsune-san. I am Matsu Yurio."

The Fox smiles at the stunned look on the Lion's face, but bows politely. Bowing low is easier from so high. "And I am Kitsune Kumahime, Student of the Proud Bear. It I a pleasure to meet you, little one."

[Yuzuki]

Little one? Hope that doesn't backfire

Yuzuki hoped to steer the conversation away from cats and possible insults.

"Kitsune-san helped me prepare the food earlier. She has some experience with cooking for many."

[Yogo Mizuki]

Mizuki arrives to the dinner wearing a mask that will allow her to eat, but covers 90% of her face.

She sits down to enjoy the food.

The stunned look disappeared so quickly it was hard to tell when 'stun' left and 'catastrophically angry' started.

"Little one? . . . . little . . . one. Do you make a habit out of insulting samurai, Kitsune-san or do you just spout the first idiocies that make it into your brain?"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"So Moshi Asakiko is a doctor too?" Then Butaj notices the Bunny. Where has she come from? "Hello." He says cautiously, wary of the duplicity of the other Bunny and not knowing if this one is the same. "Butaj. Moto Butaj." Flanked by little ladies, Butaj looks at the table. "Can Butaj offer you both something to drink?"

"I know some things, Moto sama. I mostly known by my divination and my flower arranging."


She turned to the Usagi. "I am well Usagi sama and my lovely flowers too."

[Moto Butaj]

Butaj grips a bottle of sake and after a time figures out how to remove the seal. He sniffs the content suspiciously but then raises his brows in 'oh well' way and pours three cups - he thinks the small containers being cups - and puts one before each, looking left and looking right. "This is how it is being done around here, right? The Moto say: tulgatsgaya!"

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Hai, Moto sama." She raised the cup. "For new friendships, Kampai" She drank the sake given to her.

[Moto Butaj]

"Geumbei!" Butaj calls with heavy accent but he doesn't notice the difference and remains jolly as he swigs sake in. "Strange. But good. Stronger than kumis."

[Matsu Kogo]

The Matsu arrived late, having taken a brief stroll to enjoy the cooler night breeze before attending. She entered the room, noticing the lovely floral arrangements and the diverse crowd. She finds a seat and begins to tuck into some of the food, steering clear of any items of cheese. She slipped Noburu some choice pieces.

[Otomo Tenzo]

Tenzo too arrived a little bit after the dinner officially began, but it was not long before he passed by the tables and onto the other side of the tent, ending up with a few choice bites of food and a cup filled to the brim with sake. He was careful not to spill a drop as he found an empty set of cushions and made himself comfortable.
