"Oh no, of course not, Shinjo-san!" she shook her head quickly. "To the untrained, it might seem so... but as with even fire and water of the non-spiritual nature, they create something entirely new when worked together in harmony! One must only look for the right way to combine one with the other." The Crane nodded quickly, sipping at her sake and waving the fan.

[Moshi Asakiko]

"Good then! Butaj will make up for it with his company if you don't mind. Butaj is Moto Butaj and is happy to meet you even if the circumstances are risque!" The big Unicorn smiles cheerfully, then looks at the ikebana. "Ooooh, very pretty. Butaj makes a guess it's not for eating but admiring, but easterners have so many funny ways of doing things that Butaj wouldn't be entirely surprised if this wonder was edible!" He takes a sit by the little Moshi, removing topshur from his back and putting it beside him.

"When they are dried they are used to reduce fever. So they aren't entirely edible. But there are some edible ones when they are fresh but sadly not these." Asakiko nodded. "This one is Moshi Asakiko of the Centipede clan. I hope lady Amaterasu had brighten your day."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

He thinks of the different ways he uses fire and water in survival training. "Such as applying fire to water to boil it and make steam, or applying water to fire to douse it and create smoke?" He wonders if he was on to something... but even if he was with that he really has no idea where it was supposed to lead. He just knew that you could use smoke to signal and cook in boiling water.

[Matsu Yurio]

"Of course," she said. "He is Kon, I have had him for two years."

She really didn't understand why the Lion seemed to be so upset. Surely he could understand she had to attend to the chaos that had been left behind by Kon.

"His colouring is so nice. Does he like being petted? How about cuddles? Does he shed much? Wake you up at night? Does he hunt and bring you presents? How is he around other cats? . . . oh have you met my Neko? He's probably prowling around somewhere as well."

And so began the kitteh question avalanche.

[Yuzuki]

She blinked.

Apparently whatever offense she'd given had been forgotten already.

"That's quite a few questions, uh... let me see. He's okay with petting from me, but he has an odd idea who is allowed and who gets hissed at. If he does much shedding it's mostly away from me. He does get up to his own adventures at night, and he tries to hunt but is pretty bad at it. Other cats are usually fine, he doesn't get too territorial."

[Moshi Asakiko]

Abandoned by the Mantis thusly, Tsukimi frowned for a moment, then reasserted her On and looked round. She spotted a Unicorn she had not spoken to yet, standing next to the Centipede, and the Hare moseyed her way over.

"Ohayo. This one is Usagi Tsukimi. What a lovely production, Moshi-san. Beautiful."

And when she finally calmed herself from the trampling the Moshi looked at the Usagi and smiled. "Arigato Usagi sama."

[Kakita Nanami]

"Hai!" the Crane said with an enthusiastic nod. "And when making a blade, once must force the heated metal into the water in order to temper it!"

[Matsu Yurio]

Yurio avidly listened to every word.

"Has he bred yet? Oh I wonder what the kittens would look like! I'll have to introduce him to Neko at some point. They might fight if not properly chaperoned. Especially if there are any lady cats about."

[Yuzuki]

Uh...

Mentally she groaned at the questioning. There was something in the Lion's eyes that she couldn't quite place yet.

"Uh, not that I know. He hasn't introduced me to any offspring yet."

[Shinjo Monkhbaatar]

"So working with the kami is something like that? Mixing and matching the elements to create certain effects? That sounds interesting."

[Moto Butaj]

"So Moshi Asakiko is a doctor too?" Then Butaj notices the Bunny. Where has she come from? "Hello." He says cautiously, wary of the duplicity of the other Bunny and not knowing if this one is the same. "Butaj. Moto Butaj." Flanked by little ladies, Butaj looks at the table. "Can Butaj offer you both something to drink?"

[Matsu Yurio]

"Oh I bet he has some. I know Neko has many back at Swift Sword. So cute with their silver tabby patterns. No two are the same. Where does Kon sleep? Does he kick his feet like he's chasing mice in his dreams?"

The Lion was becoming slightly higher pitched and was bouncing on the balls of his feet now. This must be his absolute favourite topic in the world.

[Usagi Tsukimi]

"Arigato, Moshi-san. I hope you were not trampled too violently?" she said with a tepid smile, and a twinkle in her eye.

To Butaj, a nod, "Ohayo, Moto-san. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, a drink would be great! Thank you."

[Yuzuki]

Oooh... I know what that look is. Insanity.

Slowly, Yuzuki began to realize she had made a terrible mistake. It was time to start developing an exit strategy.

"Uh, well I'm usually asleep when he is too, so I don't know about that... uh. He usually sleeps down by my feet I guess?"

[Kakita Nanami]

"Something similar, yes." The Crane nodded, sipping once more at her drink. "The Agasha teach a method to call the kami of one element through another, allowing one to fully understand the interactions between them and use all to greater effect. It is... I must admit taxing at times, though."
