Wandering back to his yurt after the impromptu concert, Bantu got a little turned around, direction sense was not his strongest talent, and found himself wandering past some unfamiliar tents.

The candle he carried was providing poor illumination and he resolved to ask an occupant of one of the tents for directions, as he drew close however, he noticed some unusual markings on the outside of the tent...

"What the hell?" He mumbled softly as he pondered the writing. He had done reasonably well interpreting the Ide's made up language the other day and wondered if this was another test of some sort.

After returning Monkhbaatar's clothes, the rabbit stifled a yawn as she headed back to camp.

On the way, she saw a light... and Soshi Bantu? Was he spying on someone?!

"Ahem... Soshi-sama?"

"Ah, Usagi-san, out for a late stroll as well?" He asked in a quiet voice, so as not to disturb any who might be asleep in the surrounding tents.

"I was just returning something... what are you doing?" she lowered her voice too, but she was curious what he was up to.

"Well," he started to explain. "I'd just experienced a wonderful send off for Otaku Chu-Pi for her trip to her next turn of the wheel. Oh there was music and dancing and singing and drinking, it was truly a celebration of life."

He clears his throat as he realizes he's getting a little off topic. "Anyway I got a little lost and lit this candle to try andget my bearings when I saw this." He concluded as he pointed to the scribblings on the tent.

"It's probably nothing, but it put me in mind of that language test the Ide gave us a few days ago and my mind just got captivated in trying to solve it."

Tomoe silently took in the odd scribblings. What in Jigoku was this...?

Even in the candlelight, Bantu could make out the confusion in Tomoe's eyes.

"Yeah, that was my reaction too." He whispered softly. "My first thought was a transposition cipher, but I may be over thinking it all."

The Hare's brow furrowed, as she tried to make sense of it.

"It's not any cipher I know... It could also be gibberish. A prank."

"That's true," Bantu agreed with a crooked grin. "But gibberish is far more boring. Part of me hopes for a secret code between lovers, confessing their eternal love despite being forced to attend this miai. Makes for a wonderful story."
